I was amazed at the customer service of MMM. The owner gave me samples of both ice cream and chocolates, & then personally escorted me upstairs to the factory for a demonstration on how the chocolate is made. When the type of hot chocolate mix I wanted was out, he quickly put together another bag for me. He was knowledgeable, friendly, funny, & all about the customer's experience. Plus, the chocolate & ice cream were phenomenal.

We adorned the doors of the Mayan Monkey during our week long holiday in La Cala Mijas. After what can only be described as a disappointing dinner we decided to leave the restaurant and seek our dessert from this little place we spotted earlier. As we approached it was clear that the owner was shutting up for the night however he welcomed us into his establishment and proceeded to give us 'taster' samples of his absolutely delicious ice cream before we finally purchased our cones. A must visit shop if you are ever in Mijas. We went back later in the week to purchase chocolate to take home and I am sure we won't be disappointed. Can't wait to come back in June.

As others have said, very friendly and knowledgeable owners and staff. Their passion for chocolate is evident. Aside from the chocolate, which comes in so many varieties of white, milk and dark that everyone can find one to their liking, the ice cream is incredible. Fantastic place to pick up unique chocolates as well as pure cocoa nibs, powder and cocoa butter. Did the workshop which was the highlight of our trip including four children from age 10-17. Even the hard-to-impress teenagers were thrilled with the visit. In the workshop you can choose from white, milk and the house dark chocolate plus whatever add-ins you'd like. In addition, you'll sample chocolates from all over the world while learning a little history about chocolate. Well worth the 25 euros per person, in our opinion.

We came across the chocolate factory on a wander through Mijas and its such a good find! We bought a ton of chocolate to bring home and ate most while we were on holiday. The owners are lovely and very friendly and we went back for on Sunday to the chocolate workshop. There were 9 of us in our family group including one octagenarian and two 4 month olds and we spoke a a variety of languages - not one common one between us so we were quite a challenge! But it was great fun and we all made three delicious bars of chocolate to take away. The workshop was fun and informative and they were very generous with all the ingredients. I'd highly recommend it if you have a spare hour and if you don't, make sure you visit the shop and try the chilli chocolate icecream!
