We enjoyed our trip to Spain. The employees at Miraflores were very accommodating & helpful. I didn't like there were no dryers. The most disappointing portion of the trip was the lack f heat at night. They gave us space heaters that kept tripping & cutting off the power. Beautiful views. I would return in the summer.... Not the winter.

One bedroom apartment close to the beach was amazing.Spacious, clean, well equipped, sea view, balcony and garden.Very relaxing.Only negatives the very busy main road and the small beach immediately in front a bit rocky.Must visit Mijas in the mountains .Wished we could have stayed for longer

I spent 5 days at Miraflores in the middle of November. Weather was sunny and a bit coludy but the place was very hospitable. The apartment was very tidy, confortable and equipped with every kind of appliance. The staff was very friendly and corteous, It gave informations very detailed for places and attractions to visit. Mainly it was a relaxing holiday. Very recommended fort the Mijas area. Miraflores B&CC is close to the beach and sea. Supermarket were nearby and many restaurants, pubs and grills, too.

Room Tip: Rooms on the hill are tiring to reach if you are on walk, but they are most beautiful of the rest! =)

My wife and I spent two weeks in early October in a 3 bedroom villa with friends in the Miraflores Beach and Country Club Resort. The experience was special thanks to a combination of good accomadation which was well equipped user friendly, a high standard of Customer Care from resort personnel at all levels and a generous period of sunshine.

This is obviously not a new resort, yet it has been carefully maintained and kepy up to date to provide really comfortable living conditions.

Equally, a lot of care has been taken to ensure the grounds are attractive and colouful and this creates a nice atmostphere.

The resort is well placed for easy access to resturants, golf courses and beaches and Supermarkets in the immediate area make stocking up the cupboards a pleasure

I have no hesitation in recommending Miraflores Beach and Country Club

We tranfered a week of our timeshare from Thailand and crossed our fingers, with the guidance of previous trip advisors visitors. We were NOT disappointed.
Centrally located between Malaga and Marbella we used the resort as a base for many hire car excursions.
Arriving late at night was daunting to say the least with an out of date SAT NAV that didn't recognize any of the new AP motorways.. funny now, but frightening to be continually told 'recalculating' when following straight line!? then told to take the 7th exit when there are only 3.. etc, get the picture.
After we tossed the NAVMAN in the glovebox we fared much better with the local maps kindly provided by ( and important info cycled and noted) by the super receptionist in Jazmin- the reception for the Beach & Country Club.
We went to Ronda (a MUST to visit!!) LA PILASTRA DEL TORERO RONDA on the edge of the cliff with views out over the olive groves, the river far far below and many tourists wandering past , we ate the best salad of my life.. goats cheese glazed with runny honey toasted walnuts, summer vine ripened tomatoes and crisp lettuce and spinach with a hint of mustard and honey dressing (i'll be attempting to replicate that for ever!!) The delightful waiter recommended driving the short 14 kms to - Ubrique - (which must have been at least 40kms!)
Ubrique is a cool mountain village beyond Ronda with leather factory shops, at Carla Sade factory we bought leather jackets and bags reduced by 30-50% as they were last seasons styles (i.e., not in the shops in the southern hemisphere, so just coming INto fashion!) check out their website to see what I mean.
Mijas was a quick first little 20 minute trip above Fuengarolla another MUST to visit, rather touristy, but who cares when it is devine!! We ate paella with a jug of sangria (Euro26) on a cliff top over looking the amazing Costa Del Sol and beyond @ MESON BAR LA TERRAZA MIJAS. a hazy day but being Autumn not too hot.
We passed on the famous donkey rides, but got some good pics of them.
Fuengarolla was a great little town, with some nice cafes, we had an excellent coffee and french pastries at a patisserie on the south of town. I wouldn't want to stay there as it was seriously crowded, but nice to visit.
Another fun excursion was a trip north past Marbella to the seafront towns of Mara,.. little place with not much happening, just great views of the old sugar cane factory and plenty of picturesque houses. ( There was a large group of artists there setting up easels all about the town).
The tapas was the cheapest we had and very tastie.
The larger town of Nerja further south was a delight. Driving straight into an underground carpark which opened out into the centre of the town info centre, we went for a swim in the waves, lolled about in the sun in amongst the topless nubile wenches then showered at the waterside free shower and wandered up the hill in search of food..
There was a great choice of food places but we couldn't go past the sign for EURO1 for tapas. We shared 4 different tapas, another litre of sangria and were very happy!
Another excursion we went into Malaga for a special evening tour of the Alcazaba.. a real highlight with the most devine upper palace grounds scented by the delicious local flower (that is nameless sorry, but ppl sell the flowers in a bunch on a stick.. gorgeous!) We were serenaded by local (expats) on ancient Egytian style drum and violin in a palace courtyard with exquisite acoustics.
Anyway.. I should mention something about Miraflores... the staff were brilliant, there when we needed them, spoke English, were very helpful and pleasant.
The wifi in the reception area was excellent.. and air conditioned!
The room was lovely: very clean, all the mod cons, even washing powder and easy instructions for the washing machine. Bed firm & very comfortable, great balcony and we luckily had a great view of the sea.
The pool was excellent, though we only had 2 rather short swims and not much sunbathing time there, it was clean and with 3 levels, it suited all needs. There was also a bar, but we brought our own drinks.
We dined at the main restaurant and were seated by the stage.. a little worried we might become a part of the act we slid off into the surrounding couches with our wines.. thinking we might need to skulk off later if the talent was painful.. well we had nothing to worry about.
Even though we didn't want to enjoy the cabaret act, Steve Shapelle was excellent! He was very funny, sang a huge range of styles and did it all very well.. and at no extra charge to us. Brilliant.
So, Spain was a buzz! Miraflores were very good to us, value wise well worth the money well positioned with the supermarket, Korma Restaurant and the best meal of our trip plus free flamenco demonstration at LA PLAZA RISTORANTE IT.
The hilltop apartment was a huge and hot hike from the beach (the one time we did it) but heck, we had a hire car, so we just used it all the time after that!
For families couples.. a wonderful resort and Highly recommended!
