“What a hike but what a view!!”

View from the village itself is fantastic but a 2 hour tiring, all-uphill hike from the village through rocky trails (didn't think I was going to make it!!)to the top of the Picos rewards you with a view that is simply spectacular of the whole of the province of Malaga - & back downhill again is great!

This little town has wonderful and unique view with a wonderful Moroccan restaurant on the top! When I'm in this area I visit this place every time.

Well signposted trails and some nice off trail climbs to be had. Absolutely fantastic views. Beautiful, solitary and peaceful sitting on a rocky out crop looking down on Mijas and Fuengirola below.

Well-signposted (we only got confused once), spectacular views, and in April the wildflowers were glorious. Nothing too technical - we even ran one of the trails.

Maps (slightly out of date as they have added more trails) available from Tourist Information.

likes: it is quite touristy but still have a peacful atmosphere of pueblos blancos, a beautiful views, a funny attraction: burro taxi (there are donkeys, you can have a ride in a carriage or just take a photo with them), lots of souvenir shops and restaurants, a multi-level car park right in the city centre

It is an excellent place to have a day or an afternoon out. You will certainly enjoy it!!!

dislikes: none!
