Very fun! We went from 4pm - 7pm as there is a reduced entry fee at 4pm. 3 hours was more than enough time to do every ride twice, as it is a pretty small park. Loads of fun, useful facilities!

We used one of the freely available "free child + 25% off adults" vouchers, which you can pick up pretty much anywhere in Fuengirola. The water park is quite expensive without this, but we managed to get in for around €40 instead of the normal €70+. To put this into perspective, in the UK we have a local water park called Wet n Wild which is filthy, and it costs us £30 for a family of four. For not much more we got entry into Parque Acuatico Mijas.

The park is well maintained, with plenty to do. We opted to pay for two sun beds at €3.50 each rather than lie on the grass. We also chose to pay the €6 per ring for the blue donuts, rather than stand in the frankly huge queues for the free rings.

The pool guards are very diligent, although at one point we were going mad with the noise of their whistles - they love to blow those whistles!

Food and drink is actually not extortionate. there is a kids menu at €7 and a large beer is €2.90 with soft drinks around the €1 to €1.50 mark.

All in all, a great day out, the kids loved it, but be prepared to pay the extra for the sunbeds and rings, otherwise the queuing will definitely spoil your enjoyment.

The kids loved it but as adults, it did feel like we spent most of the day queuing. A nice waterpark with mixed rides suitable for probably 5 year olds and above (there is a height restriction). Check before you go.
Also look out for offers as we found in the local paper and shopping centres either 4euro off per person or mel deal admissions. Most of the Spanish just take a picnic in a cool box!!

we really enjoyed this day. At the end, my purse was stolen, and the parque closed at 7pm, but we went running back, and they opened up for us and helped us look. They gave us good advice, and the next morning we went back at 10am when they opened and my purse was waiting for us, drivers licence and all!!!
other than that, it was spotless and well looked after

Massively overcrowded in summer (or was last year when there were fewer tourists than this year), but the high slide was more than worth the entrance fee!
