Driving from Malaga airport it's a swift journey along the motorway around 20 mins . Be aware taxis don't carry more than 4 passengers . Club la costa is on a hill be prepared to walk up and down a lot . The resort has good Accomodation we were given a two bed apartment over looking the pool on one side and a sea view on the other . If you need Internet the wifi is appalling .
If you want to eat on the resort there are a number of restaurants but be prepared to pay a fortune . The pools are crowded and our one did not have a life guard so there was a lot of things happening that were unsafe . Our stay was ok nothing fantastic but was ruined when we booked a taxi two days before leaving . What was promised was not what we got . We were made to feel like liars I fact it was said to our face . The resort staff did not want to take responsibility even though they done the booking . We wasted half our last day waiting for a replacement car . All they needed to do was to give back our refund off the difference but they just didn't really care they were spoiling our holiday .
Would we go back NO. Considering they were trying to sell us the dream holiday over 19 years for a fraction I would never be interested in this .
We were told the beach was just across the road it does not belong to them it's not a private beach but a public one and more so for dog walkers so you would need to travel further down .

Thank you for your comments. We welcome feedback from our guests as it helps us maintain the high standards we set for our resort services and staff. I was disappointed to see that that you had some difficulties with the car hire and have looked into them. It appears that the 7 seater car you wanted to take you to the airport was bigger than anything the car hire company had on its books, and it acquired a larger vehicle for you from another provider as speedily as it could on your final day, and paid the difference in price, having taken back the original car. Our restaurants offer a range of dining options and prices, from fine dining at our Safari Restaurant to themed sensibly priced menus at our El Rancho and Zacary’s restaurants, both very popular with families, as well as light fare at our pool bars and Sam’s Pantry. We have pool rules posted at each pool which are designed to ensure the comfort and safety of users and pool monitors at our busiest pools. We wish you well on your future travels.

Just back from club la Costa , apartment nice had everything you needed except proper washing machine. Hills very steep & lots of steps( not recommended for anyone old or has any disabilities) I paid €2600 for 2 bedroom apartment & few days later on same site it was €1850 , which CLC wouldn't negotiate. What made it worse was the amount of people there on time share weeks( free holidays) some paid up to £200 for a week but compared to mine? Complex away from the town so had to cab it every night as 6 of us it was 2 cabs, so nearly €40 extra a night. Good in Al ranahos was horrible. Pools ok plenty in the day for kids & bouncy castle at night, but certainly not for adults entertainment

CLC Resorts was a nice place to stay but I would recommend transportation as parking is free. It will help
you get around and see more of the sites without having to book a group tour. The resort also has 2 markets to buy needed supplies during your stay.

We booked two bedroom apartment trough RCI. Apartment name was Marina del Sol, it was in the middle of the Club la Costa area. Apartment didn't have own pools but we had acces to all the pools in the area (excluding one privet pool). There were two hotels which pools was allowed to use only the hotel residents and us (we had to show our apartment keys to go to those pools) and we used only those pools because they were nicer and more quiet than the other pools.
Apartment was really nice! Big open kitchen which had everything you could need (also dishwasher and washing machine). Nice living room, two bedrooms (one whit double bed and one with two single beds), very nice and modern bathroom (bide, bath, shower) and terrace.
House keeping comes only ones a week so we had to empty our wastebasket and do all the cleaning during the week.
Everything else was really nice but apartment was far from everywhere. Far from pools and far from grocery shop etc. Luckily there where train going around the village free of charge so we didn't have to walk all the time (with two year old).
CLC is approx. 2 km from Fuengirola but approx. 1 km from first nice beach and Myamar shopping center. We walk there almost every day.
We could definitely go back to Club la Costa area but it would be nice to stay closer to the pools. :)

Apartment great, only two of us but had apartment big enough for 6. Everything we could possibly need. Pool areas clean although couldn't always get a sunbed. Part of holiday fun is to eat out but we went out to Fuengirola every night after two revolting meals, one at. El Rancho. The only edible food we had on site was takeaway sandwiches from Sam's which were great, lovely fresh bread and made to order. SAMs was reasonably priced bearing in mind they have a captive audience. If you just want basic eg bread milk wine etc you'll have no problems. PRESENTATION should carry a warning. chandler very helpful and informative but was evidently embarrassed by the length if the he need to keep us (4 hours) Stuart did not do anything to make us warm to the values of Club la Costa, but I've just about recovered. You have to be very strong if you're not interested. The tragic thing is that offering could be really good if it's right for you, but if we were looking for this type of thing we would now to other companies as our trust has been dented.

Thank you for taking the time to post your review and I was pleased to see that you enjoyed your apartment. We ask guests on our exceptional value promotional holidays for a morning or afternoon of their time to enjoy a breakfast or afternoon tea, and to learn more about our way of holidaying in an enjoyable and informative way during our no obligation presentation. We value feedback and your comments have been passed on to the management team. We carefully monitor customer satisfaction at our restaurants and have enjoyed many compliments about the food and service at El Rancho so I was disappointed to see that this was not your experience. We wish you well on your future travels.
