I have eaten here 11 times in the last 14 years and have always enjoyed the real log fire in winter, and sitting out on the terrace overlooking the Plaza de la Constitución in summer. On a Friday evening in March there were 4 tables occupied and 7 vacant, but the fire and conversation still produced a lively atmosphere. The welcome from the old lady and the service in this family run Basque restaurant made us feel at home. Our party chose Kokotxas Bacalao (Cod cheeks) 23€, Txangurro (spider crab) 22€, Lenguado Mirlo Blanco (Sole) 24€, and Almejas Cantabrico (clams) 20€ and we all thoroughly enjoyed our dishes. A bottle of Montespejo from the Sierras de Málaga 17€ was a good accompaniment, The highlight was the Grand Marnier soufflé. We were advised that two portions at 9€ each was enough for four people. It was flambed at the table and was delicious. Altogether a great evening.
