Really pleasant staff, reception staff were excellent, happy and helpful. The rooms was clean, tidy, well decorated, a good size and had a large balcony overlooking the pool.
Plenty of car parking and bus stops for the local bus nearby. We found the beach a bit too gritty so drove each day about a mile down the road to beautiful sandy beaches. The mini bar was not capable of cooling bottles of water or soft drink and they had no fridges to rent. When making a booking make sure that you book Puntazo 11 and not Puntazo 1 as this is the original hotel block from the late 1960s where the rooms are small but do have a good sea view. The Puntazo 11 is in a good position to walk along the sea front to a number of bars and restaurants in the area. The local bus picks up and drops off nearby and for 1.5 euro you can take a trip to the hillside village of Mojacar. Taxis are reasonable but few and far between and you have to book them through the hotel or restaurants as they are always busy. I would recommend the Puntazo 11 to anyone wanting a relaxing beach holiday. The tea, coffee, and even sugar are charged for in the hotel room which is a little uncalled for. BUT overall a very good place to stay.More
