We stayed here for one night in January. Lovely clean Spanish family run hotel, very good value for money. We did not use the bar and restaurant, but our room had the most wonderful view of the sea through the window. Good parking. Hear good restaurants.

Stayed here for 3 nights earlier this month. Parking was no issue on the street right outside the hotel. First impressions were excellent ! Nice cool lobby area, marble floors and very clean. The reception desk was unmanned, however a quick look downstairs into the restaurant/bar area located the owner . We were warmly welcomed, and shown to our room. The room itself was spacious, nice terrace right overlooking the sea. The bedding was crisp white sheets ( these were changed daily, you don't get that in a lot of 4 * hotels these days, especially in resorts) . Our bathroom was large, very bright, with a light tunnel for extra light, powerful shower and bath, some toiletries provided daily too.
There was an old fashioned box style TV , which we didn't use anyhow. Towels changed daily and good quality too.
Breakfast is served each morning either on the terrace or inside. Its a continental style, really good coffee, croissant, french bread and bread, all toasted, with some jam and butter and fresh Orange juice. Basic but does the trick !
This property is spotlessly clean throughout, the owners are delightful, they don't speak English, so your attempts at Spanish are well received !
Its in a lovely location, on the main road running through the resort, opposite the beach, so ideal for a quick swim before breakfast !
We would definitely stay here again. You were made to feel they valued you as a customer, which is not always the case in larger hotels.
Go try the Sal Marina !

Room Tip: Ask for room on front for best views

Our annual pilgrimage to visit Mum and Dad in Mojacar this year took us to the Sal Marina as there were too many of us this time to stay in one of the apartments on their complex. What a lovely little place! The hotel is located on the main road but it's not exactly the M25 so the traffic noise isn't a problem. A room at the front of the hotel affords a super view of the sea but even some of the side rooms give something of a sea view, albeit not face on but if you like a bit of shade on your balcony then a side room might be better for you. The rooms are a good size and spotlessly clean and offer everything you need which includes very efficient air con. The beds are super comfy and the linen and towels were very clean The owners are Spanish and don't have much English but with a trusty phrase book and a bit of effort everything you need is catered for with great humor and super hospitality. Breakfast is simple but very nice especially when taken on the front terrace which is a lovely spot for a leisurely start to your day. If you need somewhere to stay in Mojacar which is clean, comfortable, welcoming and is in a great location and very fairly priced then the Sal Marina will be a good choice. A lovely week away with my Sisters and Niece and a return visit next year is certainly on the cards.

The family run hotel is absolutely need, very clean and especially the hospitallity is outstanding. This nice little hotel is situated directly at the main cost road. (In October there was only little traffic under the day and totally quiet at night, but this could be worse during main season). Unfortunatelly they only speak spanish, but it worked out. The breakfast was spanish, but pefect. Just ask and you get whatever you want.
The restaurant offers traditional andalusian dishes - especially Zazuela is great - you have to try this hotpot with fish and seafood.
I will go again in October this year and will stay at the same hotel for sure.

Room Tip: I enjoyed views at sunrise from one of the front rooms. They offered free WLAN, but this unfortunatelly did not work on the front room, but they told me it could be a problem. It should work at a few side rooms.

We have just stayed in this really nice hotel for three nights, the owners are really very nice and friendly, nothings to much trouble and the hotel is spotless. We are going to stay here again in October, we had room 104 which is at the side of the hotel and it was very quiet, there are rooms overlooking the sea but there is a little noise from the road, this hotel is only small but big on friendliness, breakfast is basic but adequate we had fresh squeezed orange juice toasted bread with jam and marmalade and coffee. The hotel also offers lunch and dinner and serves snacks and toasties throughout the day, the bar also closes at about 10.30pm. Well recommended.

Room Tip: Room 104 top floor end room, quietest in the hotel
