If you're travelling by car, this hotel is great, as it's not terribly far from Porto or the port wine lodges in Vila Nova de Gaia. We were on public transport, and it's very easy to get into and out of Porto by bus and regional railway - just catch the train to Coimbroes and the hotel is less than 5 minutes' walk away - behind the Burger King. However, it's a bit tougher to get to the airport by public transport - it did take us quite a while, but maybe the trains didn't connect up as well as they could have.

The hotel itself is fine - nice, friendly staff who speak good English and are helpful. The hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk down to the port lodges - take a map as they're not well signposted. It's not very far to Porto - probably about 45 mins walk so on a nice day it's a good stroll across the bridge, but taxis don't cost very much in Portugal so you might prefer to take a taxi over.

The rooms are clean, modern and reasonably spacious. And cost us a bargain €35 per night, not including breakfast (but Porto, like everywhere in Portugal, has a plethora of good bakeries and supermarkets, so just stock up the night before on a few things to eat for breakfast and you'll be fine). We couldn't find cheaper accommodation, and this hotel, although seemingly designed for business travellers, served our purposes very well indeed.

We were looking for a hotel that we could drive to without going in to Porto and this was it
The front desk staff directed us to bus 902 which was a quick thrilling ride to downtown Porto. The room was basic but very clean the staff great and for a few Euros a great little breakfast. Parking was free and easy to find and again the front desk sent us to good eating places within a few minutes walk.
we ate in the downtown one night and again the bus ran until late enough to get us home

Nice Hotel close to the highway. The flight next morning was early so for me the best choice to stay. Free fast WIFI Internet at the rooms. Price arrounf 40,00 Euro. With breakfast 45,00 Euro. Burger King and gas station arround the corner :-) Easy to find, Bed and Breakfast hotel. Good if you need no special service. Perfect for young people on City trips.

Located next to one of the highways that enter Porto, this a basic, no frills motel.
It's clean, confortable and cheap. Rooms are a bit small, but adequate.
Better than any other similar option in this area (Ibis, Novotel, etc.).

You need a car to be in this hotel, although there are buses to the city centre and a train station very nearby. I think is unbeateble for value in the Porto area. Everything is very basic but also very clean. Breakfast buffet is very limited, although with a very extensive timetable: from 06:30 to 12:00 noon. No café-shop but coffee and some other vending machines for drinks or snacks at the lobby. A plus is the free internet connection in every room.
