My wife and I had a recommendation from the KnockKnock shop owner across the road and we were not disappointed. I fell in love with the place as soon as the copious basket of bread and plates of local cured meats and cheese arrived. We dined on a traditional beef dish which came with small potatoes and slices of orange, each adorned with a bay leaf. The owner introduced us to Quinta dos Currais, a luscious local red wine and we were treated to a liqueur on the house. The bill was shockingly reasonable and we loved the local, family feel to the place. This is the real Porto!!
