We so enjoyed our 3 night stay in Luso! The house was perfect!!! Our family of 5 fit perfectly in this house. The kids loved picking oranges and lemons from the orchid. The view was spectacular! This was a great place for our family to slow down and do some hiking.
Bill was great in communicating with us. He provided easy instructions and truly made our stay stress free!
Thank you for the wine!!!! We actually drove out to that winery so stock up a bit more
I really liked our stay at Casa Roman. The owners were really friendly and helpful with directions and useful information about the house. It offered lots of room and comfort. It is located in a wonderful secluded little valley with a village that seems to be always asleep. But with a car you can drive via very small and windy roads to Coimbra in 20 minutes and that city is amazing! Worth visiting for many days. Luso was also a treat.
One small thing: good Internet and sattelite connectivity is nowadays expected to be a given in any vacation home or am I Just spoiled that way? My best wishes to Bill and Susan.
Four of us (two adult couples) stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed it. Comfortable, well furnished rooms with spacious kitchen and bathrooms. The living room has a terrace overlooking a small village and the surrounding landscape. It is a quiet location but if you want more action the little town of Luso is nearby, which has spa facilities. Also, the national forest of Busaco, which is really enchanting and definitely worth a visit, or several.
The owner, Bill Bramley, although in England was very helpful on a range of matters.
Highly recommended and we would definitely stay here again.
