Worth a visit any season. Make sure you take the tram for an overview of the entire garden. The boat ride lets you see the garden from a different perspective. The rose garden is beautiful in late spring to early summer. The wildflower/butterfly area is great in summer. Children will love there special area with water features. Wear your walking shoes it is the only way to really get up close.

Breath taking beauty just surrounds you every where. Nice water park area for the kids to play in. Must see.

The Norfolk B-Garden is an impressive facility. Their Azaleas are impressive, as is their information center. You could easily spend 3 hours here in the summer, 5 in the spring and fall, and 2 in the winter. They have food on the premises and are minutes away from ORF. If you have a long layover, this is the place to spend it.

I have a membership here and go very often. I have taken friends, family, and colleagues. It is always clean and well kept. I go walking there for exercise. I have walked up to seven miles there. It is a great place to take children in strollers. Summer time there is water play area for kids.Picnics would be fun here. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is ever changing so you can go back time and time again and never see the same things. Spring is my favorite time to see the flowers and sit on benches after a nice walk. I have even brought a book and read for hours just to get away for a while in the fresh air. ENJOY!
