I have a membership here and go very often. I have taken friends, family, and colleagues. It is always clean and well kept. I go walking there for exercise. I have walked up to seven miles there. It is a great place to take children in strollers. Summer time there is water play area for kids.Picnics would be fun here. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is ever changing so you can go back time and time again and never see the same things. Spring is my favorite time to see the flowers and sit on benches after a nice walk. I have even brought a book and read for hours just to get away for a while in the fresh air. ENJOY!

peaceful, beautiful and fun. Things for all ages and how many places can you see a bald eagle nesting?

For people who like to look at flowers and other plants, it is a nice few hours. Children wouldn't find it of much interest, though. I've been there about 5 times since 1977 but that's enough for me.

I went with 2 grouchy men who wanted nothing to do with this place. The grounds are humungous! with small rivers running through it and bald eagle nests and beautiful egrets flying around. so many beautiful displays and areas. The rose garden is as if it is straight out of Alice in Wonderland. I would come back here in a flash. And by the way, the 2 grouchy men enjoyed themselves and their time at the gardens as well. Ha Ha I win!
