“Fresh and yummy...my favorite spot in Norfolk!”
Reviewed September 18, 2012

No Frill in Norfolk has long been a favorite of mine and my last visit was no exception. It's a "must stop" on any foodie's journey through Norfolk. :) The ingredients are always fresh and the flavor combinations inspiring. Enjoy! :)

“Good food and service and they deserve the success they have experienced”
Reviewed September 17, 2012

This was probably my 15th visit to one of their two locations in the past 5-6 years but my first review. The prices are not exactly cheap but not overly high either. The menu covers most any are you would like from fish to beef to veg and even meat loaf. The service is always friendly and the food comes out faster than what you'd think for a place that seems to be always busy - even on a Tuesday at lunch. The owner pays attention that what's going on and has his hand in things enough that it is well run and sticks to the basics of good uncomplicated southern food fixed with a creative touch. And the food is always attractively presented as well. Keep up the good job!

“Little Greasier than what we typically like”
Reviewed September 7, 2012

The atmosphere and service have always been fine, but the food is a bit greasier than what we typically like to eat. It's a nice restaurant and the people are friendly, I just don't really like the food.

“Very average!”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

I guess all it takes to be popular in Norfolk it is serving a mound of mediocre American food in a very noisy enviroment and to add some hype throw in there a good wait to get seated!
Stick with sandwiches and do not venture in dishes out of their leauge like catch of the day, it was unedible!

“Great food, good value”
Reviewed August 27, 2012

We stopped here for lunch. Love the menu - interesting, fresh, varied choices. I had the pita quesadilla and it was really fabulous! The salad my dining partner had was HUGE and looked delicious. I was impressed that it was more about the "stuff" rather than just a pile of lettuce with a few sparse toppings. Glad we found it!
