“Great Old Movie Theater”
Reviewed November 1, 2012

The Naro is on Colley Avenue and shows indie movies that I have never heard of, but end up being amazing! I love the atmosphere of the old theater and the tickets are only $9 on the weekends. Great place for a romantic date night especially if you sit on the balcony.

“Eclectic films”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

Watch carefully the reviews. They have some true delights - Charlie Chaplain with a real piano player, the original Phantom of the Opera with a live piano player was out of this world.
They play an unusual mix - some of the best films that I have seen have been here. Parking a little tight.

“Fantastic Old Community Movie Theater”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

Located in the Ghent section of downtown Norfolk on Granby St, it's in the middle of a thriving restaurant district. We've been enjoying their eclectic selection of first run and artsy movies for over 30 years. If you've grown up with the big stadium seating theaters, you probably won't like this but giving something new a try might just turn out to be fun. We love the place.

“Great place to see first run, out of the ordinary movies....”
Reviewed October 15, 2012

Right in the middle of historic Ghent neighborhood surrounded by great restaurants. The Naro shows movies that you will not see in the big theaters. It has an eclectric menu of movies. Check out their website for their calendar.

“Travel back in time and watach GREAT movies”
Reviewed October 15, 2012

This is not a closet style movie, this is the real deal. And the movies that they show are fantastic. Cannes film festival, indie, Sundance, independent, etc. And for the fans of Rocky Horror Picture show... This is definitely the place!
