Do you know that this museum has the 3rd largest glass collection in the country? Across the street is a new building that houses a glass blowing demonstration and you can also take classes. Very interesting. And the Wisteria restaurant always has good food. The special today was Fried Green Tomato with crabmeat - excellent!!!!

There are two museums. The Glass Blowing Museum and the actual art museum that are across from each other. They have demonstrations of glass blowing and it was very fascinating. The art museum is packed with all different types of art from all over. Worth spending your afternoon here.

Went to see the Smokey the Bear exhibit and loved it! What childhood memories - plus a penny squishing machine to get a souvenir from the exhibit - just bring a quarter and a clean penny!

My husband and I were able to visit the museum on our recent trip. We loved every minute of it, especially the glass galleries. The gallery hosts were very knowledgeable and very eager to explain any piece of art to us. It was a wonderful experience being able to take our time to admire any work of art that caught our eye. We also visited the gift shop to purchase a few souvenirs to take home. This is the perfect place to spend an afternoon and it is all free!! Although I would recommend making a donation as we did before leaving.
