“Great time”

My husband served in the Navy on a Nimitz class carrier, and he was in hog-heaven. He got emotional, going down memory lane. It was HOT! So it didnt take long for me to have enough & need to go inside. If I had it to do over again, I would have gone much earlier in the morning. But yes, go on the Wisconsin.

It is always amazing to see Naval Ships of this size and learn of their history. My son and I had a great time exploring the ship. It is in need of some maintenance.

“If you love naval history, you'll enjoy the ship and Nauticus”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

It is great to see the interior of the ship (which was previously not open to the public), climb the ladders, walk the deck. You can see how the crew and officers lived, slept and where they preformed their duties. My father did a tour on the ship when he was a midshipmen at the Naval Academy, so he has told us some fun stories. It was on this ship, he saw the Norwegian Fjords!
