I'm not usually crazy about military tours but this was really interesting. Although we did not get a chance to see the whole interior on a tour, we did spend 45 minutes looking on several decks on a self tour. I wish we would have had more time to see the whole thing.

It was not only a privilege to be able to walk on this ship, it was an awesome sight! The USS Wisconsin is one of the largest Navy battleships. I thought it was enlightening to be able to stroll the decks of this massive ship while imagining where the ship had been and what the sailors had endured during war and long hard overseas travel. Also, the ship is a marvel of engineering and construction. That alone is worth the visit to Norfolk.

Didn't get to board this vessel - but it's massive presence in the harbor was a sight to behold and was quite stunning to photograph.

This ship, along with a small aquarium and museum are a great way to spend the better part of a day. The museum and ship are very interactive and the walking history examples are a great touch providing commentary and stories.

I went to the USS Wisconsin to visit. It was a nice ship to see and walk around. Would do it again some day.
