“Who knew?”
Reviewed July 1, 2013 via mobile

Late night at the new job in a new city, and I'm starving. Kitchens closed everywhere. A sweet hostess suggested the Cutty Sark for it's "unique vibe and good food." Turning into the driveway off Pretty Lake I wasn't sure I was in the right place as boats were dry docked all around. The restaurant sits in a little building on the right. My fried Wahoo sandwich and cole slaw were delicious, and very well priced! I think I'll become a regular!

“Great place for breakfast..”
Reviewed April 20, 2013

You gotta try the "Bite the Dog" Breakfast. 2 eggs, steak, hash browns toast and either 2 bloody mary's or 2 screwdrivers. Food is outstanding and the covered deck over the water makes for a great atmosphere while you consume your breakfast.

“Locals love it!”
Reviewed April 11, 2013

Eating at another establishment close by, struck up a conversation with couple at next table. They were locals and asked if we had been to Cutty's. Good burgers and cold beer, so no doubt we were all in for that!. Stopped by on a Sat afternoon, some families eating on the now covered deck( Disappointment for me, love the sun!) sat down, got waited on quickly, beer is COLD and ordered the infamous cheeseburger but opted for the home made cole slaw instead of fries. Waitress/Bartender told me everything is made fresh, so no fear of MSG. Food was great, scenery is beautiful with the ships as this sits right on the marina. Will be back for more and can't wait to enjoy the evening music.

“You'll be very pleasantly surprised”
Reviewed December 20, 2012

This is good old fashioned throw down comfort food. Great specials, really great prices, tons of food, and sea stories abound here. The addition of the deck is nice - I'll look forward to it again in warmer weather. You won't leave feeling healthier, but you will leave full.

“Another cool cruiser joint and sailor bar”
Reviewed November 27, 2012

We ate several meals there while in the marina ....

Breakfast is really good and easy on the pocket book .... eggs, sausage, O.J., coffee, toast and tip was about $10 .... for some reason it seemed perfectly cooked .... Lunch was a great big burger and a mess o' fries and a coupla beers and a tip for about $15 ...

For dinner our group of four had fresh fish, pasta, loaded baked potatoes, salads and lotsa drinks ... there was live music (we ate on the deck 'cause we like to look at boats) and a palapa bar ... good times and jammin sailor music (we came by boat) with dancing partners of all ages and sizes ..... on different nites the are diff musicians from the normal Buffet stuff to steel drums ...

A return destination on the Virginia coast for sure ... don't miss this laid back local hangout
