Let's put one thing out there: this place is not authentic Italian (except maybe the dessert).

I'd put this place along the same lines as large national "Italian" chain restaurants. Heavy sauces that drown out the basic flavors that Italian food should highlight. Cheesy atmosphere.

I'd sum this place up as "boring."

My husband and I have eaten at Vineyards a few times now, and everything we have tried is absolutely delicious!! Very reasonable prices, too... lots of dishes in the $12-20 range. Service was excellent. Size of the restaurant is pretty small, but it's very charming and the location is great!

My wife had the ribeye steak with blue cheese and asparagus and roasted red peppers-delicous! I was in the mood for eggplant parmesan and really enjoyed it. Both came with sides of spaghetti. I also ordered a side of sweet Italian sausage and ceasar salad. Molto! Too much! Great sauce. Cute place with a nice sized bar.

The wait staff was unable to take care of our requests when needed. It took over 1/2 our meal to be eaten for us to flag the waiter down for grated parm cheese for our pasta and several requests to get our 2nd set of garlic rolls. The garlic rolls were flavorful and hot and the salad fresh and tasty. Our meals where underwhelming though, especially the lasagna. We were irritated when the waiter added an 18% tip (after tax) without informing us. We only had 3 people at the table and there was no sign forewarning us. Not sure we will be back although we have had some decent food there before and the prices are reasonable.
