“I love the VSO”
Reviewed July 29, 2012

For very small ticket prices, you get intimate internationally-great performances. I can't say enough good about the VSO, and I'm a NYC native used to the Met and Avery Fisher Hall and other NYC performances of great music. I have had season tickets for two years now, since retiring, and I hope that I can always afford them. The conductor/director, Joann Falletta, studied under Leonard Bernstein and is a credit to him.

“Great Shows!”
Reviewed May 16, 2012

I'm probably biased because I love classical music, but I love to go to the symphony at each chance I get. The Virginia Symphony is a great treasue. They play all over Hampton Roads, VA at beautiful venues. In the summer, they play at the oceanfront!
