Not a tragedy if you miss this, but fun if added to an existing itinerary. We always ride the ferry around the bay, visit the Pagoda and Chocolage when "do Norfolk". Don't forget to ride the Tide too!

“boring”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

Don't even waist your time. This place is not worth it. Does not have anything worthwild to see in here. It is just a total and complete waste of time and effort. What was Norfolk even thinking

“Fun and interactive”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

I went here because my husband wanted to see it. I thought I would be bored, but I wasn't at all. There are so many interactive exhibits and interesting things to see and do around every corner. They made it really interesting even if it's something you might not normally be interested in.

“Must see!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2013

We purchased the combo ticket. The tour of the USS Wisconsin, Maritime Museum and the 2 hour naval shipyard cruise. The cost was 30.00 but you have to go OUTSIDE of the Nauticus building to get that price. If you go inside the museum the ticket costs are much more. We actually asked where the ticket window was for the discount and the Nauticus staff directed us to the window outside of the museum. Plan on at least 3 hours for the ship and museum (movies too) then an additional 2 for the cruise. Great attraction!!

“Very interesting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2013

My sister and I stopped here before we embarked on our cruise to the Bahamas. We really enjoyed the center, we were fortunate to strike up a conversation with one of the workers and he gave use a personal tour. We weren't able to see everything because we had to leave for our cruise. But we plan to return and visit the other attractions that Norfolk has to offer. Being a Virginia resident we both decided to look in our own backyard, because there is a treasure trove there. If you have the time to stop by and see the artifacts and history of maritime this would be a great place to begin.
