We visited this restaurant on two occasions as we were so impressed after our first meal there. The staff were very friendly, you were greeted with a complimentary glass of Madeira wine, and the service was superb. On top of all of that the Boco de Caco, otherwise known as their local garlic bread made from sweet potato was excellent and a more than ample portion. The menu choice was very good, ranging from the local scabbard fish through a full range of meats.
I had the mini rodizio at €13.50, which was a selection of 7 meats and it just kept coming. It was fresh, well cooked and was followed up with fresh grilled pineapple.
The total bill for an evening meal with drinks for three people came to €55.00, which included a tip; what fantastic value. I just don't how they do it at that price.
