This was a good day out. Cost us €120 to get in as a family of 4, plus €8 for 2 sunbeds and a locker - which were totally worth it. With young children who don't access the rides etc to their full extent it was a pricey day out but there were lots of pools and shows they could watch.
Great selection of reasonably priced food and good quality to boot for a theme park type place.
We arrived at 11am and literally got the last sunbeds. However there was plenty of space to put towels on the grass / sand etc.
Would we go again... Yes but when the children are a bit older to get more out of the slides etc.
The slides were good and the wave pool was excellent but there were two things that spoiled the day for us.
Firstly the ridiculous sunbed policy where you don't choose where you want to be (I.e, near the kids pool to keep an eye on the kids, or near to your favourite slide, or near the bars, etc.) you are given a number which relates to a sunbed and then you have to go find it so it could be anywhere. Ours were right next to a food bar so I had people pushing past my bed all day, drinks being splashed around and wasps from the leftover food / drinks containers on the tables which were about 1 metre from my head! What is wrong with doing it like every other water park where you choose where you want to be and someone comes round and collects the money - I guess this way it saves a salary as you just pay at the end of the day with an electronic wrist band.
Secondly the toilets - OMG! Seriously, they are holes in the ground which you squat over (I really am not kidding!), it was the most disgusting experience and like being in a third world country. This alone would stop me returning.
Me and my two boys headed off to Aqualandia today, we thoroughly enjoyed it. We bought discounted tickets at the hotel and arrived 10 mins before opening, no queue, easy to obtain sun loungers and lockers. Although I was slightly worried (due to fellow trip advisor comments) we turned out to really enjoy our day. The ride queues were very short, the lifeguards were efficient and the food was good quality however the toilets were slightly disappointing. We would recommend to other families with teenagers
Visited here 15 years ago and wanted to return with my children now grown up a bit.
Great rides and loads of them some scared me half to death. But worth it.
They run a cashless system so lock up your valuables on arrival and everything is spent on your wrist band and just pay at the end.
Meals are the usual fast food type but reasonable prices.
Worth every penny.
We have been here a few times and loved it every time. it offers lots of pools and slides and caters for all ages and levels of swimmer.
We had a fabulous day at Aqualandia. Something for everyone - just chilling under the sun shades or water slides and rides for the thrill seekers. Everything looks well kept and modern - until you visit the toilets. Old fashioned standing toilets - come on Aqualandia - thus really does let you down. Otherwise a fabulous place to visit.
