Owner description: Aqualandia is a Caribbean island in the heart of Jesolo. It has been recognised as the best water theme park in Italy on 10 separate occasions. Come to our park and experience a new world! 80,000 square metres of entertainment, adrenalin, sports and relaxation. What makes us truly unique? Shark Bay, the only Caribbean beach inside a water theme park, 8 themed areas, 26 attractions of which many are aquatic, including the Spacemaker, the first slide to feature virtual reality, but also the tallest bungee-jumping tower in Europe, professional shows and entertainment activities… and it’s located in Lido di Jesolo, only a stone’s throw away from Venice! Since 1989, Aqualandia offers the unique combination of relaxation, happiness, extreme sports and attractions for every age. Younger children can have fun in Funny Land while the rest of the family relaxes on the white sandy beaches and the daredevils try out the thrilling rides. For those who cannot go without sports, Aqualandia offers 2 beach volley courts and a highly-equipped gym. All this is located in Lido di Jesolo, only a stone’s throw away from Venice!

The scariest attractions I tried and whitest sand I saw. Very well organised, safe for adults and attractive program even small kids. Worth of spending money

Visited at the end of August and was prepared for it to be busy, which it was. Plus points were that the park itself is very impressive in appearance, cleanliness and facilities. Minus points were the organisation and management of the queues which left a lot to be desired. Queues to go on the larger rides were absolutely huge and my children (Age 15, 12, 7 and 5) basically couldn't face standing for a couple of hours per ride so we only went on a couple of the smaller rides, which were good but not what I would pay 142 euros for (and this was after having discount from a promotional leaflet). Although you expect to queue at any large attraction in the summer holidays, it was obvious that the lack of organisation was prolonging the wait to get on rides. We witnessed several examples of queue jumping which staff did not seem to care about. On one of the childrens slides that requires a yellow dinghy, we managed to figure out that you basically had to wait at the end of the slide to get a dinghy off someone exiting the slide. There was no control or staff supervising this which meant there were many incidents of people coming down the slide and wanting another go so just picking their dinghy up and getting back in the queue (and doing this several times) and also people waiting literally in front of the slide and whipping the dinghy out from under people as they exited the slide, almost before it touched the water! With a bit more supervision and organisation we felt that it would have been a lot fairer to all rather than the pushiest people with the least manners ruling the roost. Food was pretty good, kids all had fish nuggets and chips which they liked and husband had calamari and chips which he loved and it was ok priced. And I have to mention that whilst I am aware that the 'hole in the ground' toilets are common in Europe, I don't like them. Although we did enjoy it, we did feel we had paid over the odds for what we got.

Need to get there early to get sun beds, only two beds to one umbrella price.Lockers and umbrellas are unexpectedly extra on top of ticket price, which for a family can work out pricey. Need to budget more money for food etc on the day. Well run operation Shows are good

Despite the hefty price this was a great day out. Plenty to keep the whole family entertained and busy throughout. We went in at 1000 and left and 1900. Get their early to avoid parking problems - seemed to be a bit chaotic at around 10am but onsiee car park in 5 Euros. Mk way to reception to book in and buy tickets. All family memebers get issued with wrist bands, don;t lose or costly. But these bands are also loaded with 70 Euros and kids bands loaded with 30 Euros. Don't hand cash over anywhere on park just show your band and then on exit on expenditure is totalled and then you pay, keep an eye on kids spending! E booked a parasol and safety deposit box at 7 Euros but well worth it. All the rides are goo, the earlier you go the shorter the queues. I did queue of 1 hr for the Stargazer ride and that wasn't worth it, the rest however, were in the main about 15-30 min queue. During the day there is shows such as magic, circus, etc and were very entertaining especially for younger children. Beach hut restarants on site is good value and reasonably priced. Need to be aware once in you can't get out of complex until after 1130 so take everything in with you. In sum, a pricey family day out but very good fun.
