We have stayed in the Hotel Le Soleil for 8 days. On the third day I was called by the receptionist of the hotel who informed me that somebody - nobody knows how - entered into my room and emptied my bag on the bed. The thief stole the money from my purse and took my bank card, too. The hotel staff did not even bother to call the police, they gave me a map to go and find the police station alone. At the police station it turned out that it was not enough to write down in English what had happened, but it had to be summarized in Italian, too. I was lucky that I knew some Italian...
It is a pity that an otherwise nice hotel should treat guests in such a way!!!!

We stayed for one week and enjoyed the great service. The food was very good, with a good choice for each course. The Maitre D' in the restaurant and breakfast room is quite a character and our waiter, Claudio, was attentive and even told us about a certain bottle of wine that they had back in stock that they had run out of the night before - service of the highest level. Wine and drinks prices very reasonable with a good choice of nice wines.

Breakfast choice was vast and good quality - great coffee as well.

The Hotel itself was very clean, well decorated and of a high standard. Pool area and beach very clean as well.Sunbeds where free of charge on the beach but you had to pay to use poolside ones. The terrace, where you could have a drink and also eat breakfast gave a great view of the Pool area, beach and sea, very relaxing. Our room was a reasonable size, apparently room sizes in Jesolo in general are quite small, ours was fine, with a very good sized bathroom.

The only drawback we found was that you could hear people talking in the next door room, especially as we had an interconnecting door (closed and locked) but also you could hear people in the corridor outside the room, not sure if this was because they where noisy or just not much soundproofing.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking Pool are best location for views, some rooms overlook the road behind hotel on mai...

We stayed at Le Soleil for 10 days and have just returned. What a lovely place! We stayed on a B&B basis, where one took breakfast from the buffet out onto the terrace looking straight out to sea. Claudio, our wiater could not have been more helpful. The pool area is second to none being tended with great care by Fulvio who maintains the gardens and organises the sunbeds for which there is a charge if you want to be by the pool. The sunbeds on the beach are free. It is great not having to get up early to bag a bed with your towel...all very civilised. The mattresses on the pool area beds are thick and very comfortable and covered with huge, thick fluffy towels daily. There is a small bar area in the pool area where you can sit for lunch...again very clean and quiet with excellent service from Virginia. She will also bring drinks to your sunbed if you wish. The rooms were spotless; we had a front sea view on the 5th floor. The only downside was that the shower is quite small, but the bed was comfortable and again cleaned meticulously daily. The receptionists were incredibly helpful, polite and co-operative in every way giving out information and advice using good English. We visited Venice twice, catching the no. 3 bus outside the Hotel Miami, back 2 streests from the Soleil down to Punta Sabbioni where we got the boat to Venice. You need to buy the tickets in the Tabbachi shop on Piazza Aurora. All very easy. We borrowed free bikes form the hotel on one day and cycled East for about 30mins to find the Restaurant Tempini where we had a fab meal. The other restuarants I would recommend are the Albatross opposite the hotel and Il Turcio abbout 150m East of the piazza, although for the latter you need to go early or make a reservation. The food at Il Turcio is absolutely fab. I would definitely go back.

Room Tip: Specify a front sea view.

Hotel was nice shame the reception were not as helpful (Leonia!) We were allocated rooms that we had to be cramped into for the week when we had paid for a 3/4 bedded room so an additional bed got put into our twin room which meant the door hit the bed on entering. Reception had said all rooms were of this size which we found out in the week they were not on clearly seeing other larger rooms cleaned & with 3 beds in! Other than lack of helpfulness in a resolution we made the most of our holiday.

Food was fine dining each evening and 4 courses arrived promptly 7.30-8.30pm there was also a buffet salad bar to help yourself to. Hotel pool is not ideal for children to play in though as my young son & friend were not allowed fun or splashing or a ball, it seems children can be seen not heard in our opinion so be warned. Beach right outside & nominated beds & a parasol are assigned to you to use which was great as you don't have to get up early to guarantee yourself a bed each day (poolside are payable) be prepared for the many peddlers on the beach though.

Location wise is excellent & the maid & restaurant service too, hotel also provided free bikes to use if required & wifi (intermittent) too. There was also one evening of entertainment mid week provided but with numerous bars, restaurants & shops on your doorstep it didn't matter anyway.

Would be ideal if something could be provided for the children though, maybe table tennis or a pool table perhaps which can provide something for the children who can use it to make friends with other children too as not a lot for them to have fun with otherwise.

Currently staying at this hotel and we enjoy it!
Rooms reasonably sized with aircon, nice view over the pool and beach and nice breakfast. Location for excursion to Venice and evening-strolls on the pedestrian street is excellent. Staff very friendly indeed!
Only downside is the poor wifi system, which constantly logs you out and re-activating can take forever... Quite a headache if you're a business man on vacation and just need 10 minutes' work done and it keeps you away from the pool and kids because of Internet..
Would have rated this nice hotel 5 stars if wifi would have worked properly.

Excellent hotel with very good service. Nice room, unfortunately we did not have a sea view, but a room at the back of the hotel overlooking the road, not the best view. Didn't find the room small at all. Free aircon was an added bonus as we definitely needed it. No tea/coffee making facilities but did have a fridge so we took a travel kettle. Didn't have dinner in the hotel, but breakfasts were good.

Lovely sandy beach with sunbeds crammed very close together as far as the eye could see, very warm, shallow sea. We had 2 sunbeds and an umbrella free of charge for the week. However, our time on the beach was spoilt by the amount of endless traders that constantly bugged you and seemed to be allowed to use the hotel sunbeds as a resting place in the afternoon. On some days it was quite intimidating with the amount of African/Asian traders sitting around you on the beach, they were sometimes told to move on, but always returned within minutes. I think this problem needs to be addressed.

In the evenings there was an 11 mile strip of restaurants/bars/shops, which were all much the same repeated over, with everybody parading up and down the pedestrianised road and also on bicycles.

We particularly liked this location for his closeness to Venice, Verona and Lake Garda.
