“Why complain about a perfectly fine hotel?”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 5, 2012 via mobile

I was doubtful about staying here after reading the many critical reviews but was assured by a friend who stayed there recently, ok some of the receptionists are laid back but Idriana (not sure of spelling) was fab ,the hotel common areas are fabulously decorated & v bright and airy, I was pleasantly surprised by the room I had booked, beautiful room really well not so long ago decorated and as nice as many of the 4 star hotels I often stay in, was cleaned spotlessly daily. Towels v good quality. Bar staff very nice and helpful, bar menu lovely. Pool lovely, busstop outside the hotel that will bring u to main station or port to Venice. I stay in many hotels every year& I wil definitely be back, well done mini Miami Lido de jesolo is a perfect place to relax. Oh also free chairs from hotel on beach. Doors are fire doors and most people are very considerate to close gently. I will be back & am not sure quite what some people are expecting from a perfectly fine hotel!

stayed for a week at this hotel mid May, it is a clean hotel with friendly staff , the rooms were clean and fresh towels everyday, mind the rooms walls are thin if you get a noisy neighbour as we did, and the hotel did nothing about this situation of banging doors and shouting, loud music from the television, they even banged the doors at 2am.
The main problem with this hotel is the dinning room, it is too small for the amount of guests, there are too many tables packed side by side our table was constantly moved every day to accomodate other people trying to get to their seats.
The vegetables were available at the same time as the salad and for some reason they were being taken and eaten as a starter , when you wanted them with your main course there were often none left and they were not replenished.
The service in the dinning room was a laugh, you could be waiting 10 mins for your food or you could be eating your starter and be served with your main course, the problem seemed to be in the kitchen as it seemed unable to cope, some of the food was good and some bad as with most hotels.
We found that the bottle of wine that we left on our table the night before was sitting in the sun in the morning on the window ledge ready for the next night.
At the time of our stay we felt the efects of the earthquake and NO member of staff or indeed the holiday Rep, made any attempt to check that the guests were ok, we did mention it to the reception in the morning and it was brushed aside.
This hotel is good for somewhere to stay and Venice is in easy reach by bus and ferry, it would be better to eat out in one of the many restuarants.
We had a day of rain and everywhere shut in Jesolo so we ended up in our room at the hotel all day.
One thing to watch also is the pavements in some parts of the shopping street, as they are in disrepair caused by tree roots and are quite dangerous.
Must not forget the beach traders that hassel you for sales one after another.

I have just returned from a week at this hotel and found that it had everything that I needed and was basic.
The beds were very comfortable and the room was spotless.
Food was nice but basic the only downside was the veg. The veg would be available as soon as you enter for dinner and would run out very quickly so the time the main course was served there would be nothing left and this was not refilled.
Staff were polite and friendly.
Overall a lovely hotel.

Just got back from a week at this hotel. Very clean, lovely staff, well placed. Quiet hotel. Beds were a little hard. Only complaint was food often not very hot by the time it was served to you which was not good. Close to Venice.

I stayed here with a group in April. Jesolo di Lido appears to be a resort area and April is still off -season. Very very few of the shops were open yet. The town was essentially dead. The hotel itself was probably very nice in it's "heyday" but hasn't changed much. It was clean and the staff was quite friendly and accommodating. The wifi was free but only available on the ground floors. The lobby was small, but there is a large lounge area off to the side our group could use when wifi access was needed. Rooms were smallish but clean. Bed was small, def. not for tall people. Had a mini fridge and a balcony. Hotel has elevator, but it is very busy since it's small. Beach is a 5 minute walk. Meals at the hotel were fine. Hotel has a pool, but was stil closed in April. Best access to Venice was by boat ride. From hotel, 15 min drive to dock, 30 min boat ride to Venice. This hotel was ok, but I imagine there are better ones out there.

The hotel was nice, clean. The room was bright and clean with a balcony. Room had a view of the pool. On the balcony were chairs. The room was quiet at night. Breakfast was very good. The hotel had a very small parking lot. Near the hotel are restaurants and shops. The beach is steps away.

Great little hotel which included breakfast and evening meal in the cost. Very close to the beach and the main strip of bars, shops and resteraunts. Great plce to visit for couples and is within easy reach of Venice. Around 15 minutes to the departure port and around 30 minutes crossing to venice.
If you stay in Lido di Jesolo then a trip to Venice is a MUST. Fabulous day trip and such a lovely place.
We stayed in Jesolo for 2 weeks and took trips to Venice, Lake Garda and Verona. ALL worth while trips.
Im one of those people who doesnt see the point in going abroad only to find a "british bar" however the black cat on the main strip was our saviour for 3 days as the weather took a turn for the worst. This place for reasonably priced for food and drinks and the staff were very friendly. They even supplied us with rain coats free of charge when they found out we were going to venice on this particularly rainy day. Very kind people.
If we return to Italy then we will most definately return to this hotel.
