Lido di Jesolo is turistic place with a lots of hotels, restaurant, shops and great sandy beach. We have stayed in hotel Europa category 4 stars. Hotel is nice, has great location, because it is situated on main promenade and also is near the beach. Just few meters from the hotel is wide sandy beach with parasols and sun loungers. On the beach is snack bar where you can something to drink or just to get some snack. Sea is shallow so it is nice for small kids and because of that is quite warm. We have a room with balcony with partial view on the sea and main promenade. Room was spacious, fully equiped (air condition, LCD flat TV with good programes and quality image, mini bar,...). Bed was good so I have a good night sleep. In the room is quiet although there is main promenade by the hotel. Breakfast is good and you have plenty of different food. Staff in hotel is very friendly, polite and nice. All of them knows english. At the reception you get all different advices about sightseeing, you can also buy a ticket for boat for Venice. Lido di Jesolo is just 18 km away from village Punta Sabbioni where you can go to Venice by boat. You just need 20 minutes with boat and you're wright on Piazza di San Marco. It is better to go there this way. Garage is very expensive and it is far away from San Marco square. In Punta Sabbioni parking place costs 5 € for all day. One way ticket for boat for Venice is 6 €. I recommend to take 12 hours ticket, because you can use public boat and go where ever you want to go. This ticket costs 16 €. Beside Venice is worth to see island Murano where is factory of world known glass. There is also a beautiful island of Burano. I fell in love in this small island. Every house has different color, everything is so clean and peaceful. It is not so ful of turists. There also canals and trip to this island is romantic because you're flowting in Venice lagoon. I must say that Venice is very expensice, so if you want to eat or drink something, do it somewhere off the San Marco square or nearby (by the way just coffee costs there 8 €.) Lido di Jesolo is also just 80 km away from city of Padova which is the oldest university city. There you can also see a lot of things, especially historic sites. There are also the oldes Botanical garden in the world.
I will recommend Lido and this hotel to everyone. It is great place to visit Venice and nearby. Sleeping in Venice is quite expencive and it is hard to get to hotel because there are no roads, just canals.
