Just returned from a trip to Lido di Jesolo and stayed in Hotel Stockholm. The resort was great and both the Boyfriend and I had a great time!
The hotel is situated in Piazza Nembre which is conveniently located near all the main ammenities such as supermarkets, restaurants, shops, bus stops etc yet it was situated in the quietier bit of the resort. Another plus of the hotel is that it is very near to the beach and the hotel provides a private area on the beach with decks and umbrellas free of charge. We found the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly.
My main qualm with the hotel is that the hotel has about 12 levels but only has one small lift (prob fit 4-5 people the most) so it would be a nightmare if a large tour were to book into the hotel (which is what happened during our stay and we had to walk 10 flights of stairs). Another disadvantage was the rooms, I found them to be very basic. Our bed was extremely squeaky so was somewhat uncomfortable. The walls were very thin so if you had noisy neighbours then it would defo be awkward! The bathroom did not have a bath tub or a sturdy shower screen, simply a shower curtain which did not really prevent the water from spraying everywhere!
Overall, I do not think the hotel was worth the three star ratings because of the rooms and lift facilities but the staff and location defo made up for its shortcomings. To sum up - a reasonable priced hotel with excellent staff and ideal location but very basic rooms.
