Sadly, I discovered on a trip to Jesolo last week that the restaurant is under new management (and clearly a new chef) as of a month ago. It was the best meal and service I had anywhere In Jesolo last summer, with a great ambiance created by the staff, nice soft jazz music, a delight of incredibly complex and delicate flavors, outstanding quality and gorgeous presentation, but was a complete disappointment this time. In the middle of the lunch hours, my friend and I were the only ones in the place, the music was way too loud and nothing felt right. We had decided to take a chance once the waitress told us about the new management when I asked about the menu being completely different, having ridden our bikes a ways to get to it for the express hope of another outstanding experience. We wish we hadn't taken the chance, but at least we had knowingly decided not to order much at their very high prices and that was a blessing. The food was average at best, nothing interesting or particularly well or delicately prepared, in complete contrast to last year when the creative, talented and inspired owner was managing it. It seems they are riding on the reputation and high prices of the old management but it's not warranted in any way. I hate to be so negative but it was a complete disappointment, waste of money, and by far the worst meal of my trip this year and I won't go back.
