“Over priced”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

Actually I stayed for one night, so I can judge it only for my brief stay. All staff was friendly, BF quite well organized with all what you need for salty and sweet foods, excellent the swimming pool which I think can be considered the pearl of this hotel, a part the price that despite the high season for that area is too high, even because the room are really small and with very old furniture, I had also the unpleasant event that our bathroom (extremly small) was not having the drainage of the shower working properly, so practically we had the water all around the bathroom from the evening we took the shower till noon time when we have done the check out the day after.Having a look to the other rooms while walking in the corridors and other clients were doing the check out I have notice more or less same condition and size of the room, at least for the floor I was, first.

Have just come back from Jesolo, Italy, and am rushing to write my review of the hotel we stayed at, Mirafiori.
The place definitely has its own advantages and certain hiccups. On the plus side, all the personnel including the couple who own the hotel are miraculously friendly and ready to help. They will gladly do their best to resolve your problems and always welcome you either with a sweet smile, jolly joke or just a witty comment. The beach is nearby, sunbeds and umbrellas are free of charge though you'll have to pay should you need a beach towel (2.5 euros). Breakfast is very good and there's even such an option as pre-ordered dinner in case you have HB. IMHO the food is really nice for a three-star hotel. However, according to the hotel rules, you're not entitled to breakfast on the day of your departure, which is a great pity. You can also rent a bicycle but only during the day as it doesn't have any lights. The rooms are quite spacious and well-decorated (as is the whole hotel though it was founded in 1946), with a homey feeling. As ever, towels are changed every day and chambermaids do your room every single day. Still, bear in mind that they provide you with shampoo on the day of your arrival only, and, should you need one, either take it from home or fetch it from a local supermarket. The swimming-pool is pretty, with an area for babies, kids and adults alike.
All in all, the hotel is quite pleasant to stay at.

We had a doubleroom for one week and had also ordered a bed for our 2 year old child. The room was very clean (and was cleaned and with new towels everyday) but it wasn't that big. And the balcony, thus it had the most wonderful view over the sea was also very small.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location directly to the beach with free sun beds and umbrellas were excellent.

We would defintely go back - although we missed a small refrigirator in the room for drinks etc.

We liked:
+ clean, daily towels and bedsheets change, clean WC, clean pool
+ helpful staff
+ very close to sea
+ free umbrellas

We didn't like:
- very small DBL room for couple, no free space, only bed, no possibility to walk in room
- boring and quiet area of location
- you should pay for towels to go to pool or beach (2.5 euro)
- breakfast always the same
- small pool

Great seafront location. Very helpful and very friendly staff. The pool is liturally on the beachfront and was really clean with plenty of features. You don't have to pay for the sun loungers or umbrellas on the beach which in some Italian resorts can be expensive. We had a room on the first floor with a view of the beach and a large balcony. The room was not large but perfectly clean and okay. We had clean towels every day. The beach is great and cleaned every morning. It does get busy but at no time did we think it was crowded. Breakfast was fine although some fruit, either fresh or tinned, would have been a nice extra. The area that the hotel is in, we were told, was the quieter end of Jesolo but there was plenty of places to drink and eat around the area of the hotel. It's a shame that most of the restaurants only sell pizza's which after a couple of days can become a bit of a bore. It's a bit odd as the supermarkets are full of fresh food. Venice is also just a short boat trip away and obviously worth a day of anyones holidays. All in all a very friendly family run hotel on a great beachfront location.

We booked some flights to Teviso with Ryanair for a cheap 3 day weekend break. The hotel was mainly chosen for price, I could find some reviews but these were mainly in German.

Hotel Mirafiori is in a quieter area of Lido di Jesolo which suited us; if nightlfe is what you are looking for then you need to head for the other end.

We booked a sea view room for 3 nights at a cost of €249 B&B (continental breakfast). The room was in a great location right on the beach, it was very clean and compact with a great sea view. The only comment I would make is that is could have been improved with tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge.

The sunbeds on the beach are free to hotel guests so a real benefit if the weather is good.

The hotel appeared to attract mainly Italian and German tourists but the lady on reception spoke very good English and was extremely helpfull to us during our stay.

All in all a good hotel and much cheaper than staying in Venice itself!
