Myself and my boyfriend travelled here for 1 week in august. its very easy to get here from marco polo airport, just 2 buses that are easy to navigate and are very reasonably priced (works out at about 7 euros each). The staff are mostly friendly, however can come across as rude at times (maybe something is lost in translation).
We stayed in the mini carvan duette, which although the size is documented on the site, is very small, the bedroom is so small I had to side step around the bed and there is hardly room to get dressed! Contrary to what the what the website says, I dont think this caravan is large enough to house a couple and a small child, it would be far too cramped. The caravan itself had all the equipment you'd need, theres plugs for chargers, a fridge, air con, a TV, cutlery etc. However when we arrived the caravan stank of cigarette smoke, there were chocolate wrappers under the sofa cushions and hair and sand on the floor.
The pool area was very nice and we were able to hire sun loungers there were staff available at the pool as well in a lifeguard sort of role. The pool closes from 1pm til 3pm which seemed a little extensive (the shop also closed from 12-4).
The beach is OK its about 2 minutes walk from the campsite. Its not particularly clean, theres lots of cigarette butts and rubbish in the sand but the sea is nice and clean.
The showering facilities are poor. They are always covered in sand and flies, even first thing in the morning after they have been "cleaned". You really need to wash half a beach's worth of sand out before you can shower. They are advertised as being hot, however they are mostly cold and you might if your lucky get a warmish one.
The website says that jesolo centre is ten minutes away but that is on a bus and definately not within walking distance. The same goes for venice its about an hour and a half on 2 buses and then another 20 minutes on a water taxi.
The centre of jesolo is very nice, its all pedestrianised at night so you can walk about quite easily, theres loads of restraunts and shops but they tend not to open until about 7 pm.
I think it was our caravan and the misleading information on the website that dulled our enjoyment (aswell as the showeres being cold and sandy). If we were to go again we would use the eurocamp caravans they seem much larger and nicer. Overall the actual campsite is nice and we enjoyed our holiday but just be aware that you either need a car or be prepared to use public transport.

Room Tip: Either travel with Eurocamp and use those caravans or get one with its own shower! Hire a car or b...

I lived in a nearby, a whole lot better, camping and often visited friends in Waikiki. First of all 75% of camping / bungalows area is covered by sand and dust - definitely not grass. That was annoying. Another thing was bahaviour and attitude of both the staff at the reception desk and gays protecting the campsite. Always problems with the entrance to our friends - even using of the ATM was a problem. I understand the need to protect, but their behaviour was not acceptable form me (rudeness, harshness). Certainly this is not the atmosphere to spend a relaxing holiday. The more that infrastructure of the inside (bungalows, swimming pool, entertainment program) also left much. That is also opinion of our friends. No comments ..

Dear Sir,
we are really sorry to read about your disappointment visiting your friends at our campsite.
The guys ( not gays...) at the entrance of the camping are working for the safety of our guests. Only guests with our wristband can go in and, of course, our staff has to stop people without it. Like in every campsite, visitors are allowed upon presenting ID and paying the daily charge if their visit is for longer than 60 minutes. We are sorry that you found this procedure rude.
About sand and dust, you are right, but this summer has been really hot and without rain since end of May.
Kind regards

A good family camp with very helpful staff. It was kept clean and tidy with regular rubbish collections. The beach was 2 mins away. Eurocamp has roughly 10% of the pitches on site. Most of the campers there were German. The site staff were helpful and the entertainment staff were excellent. There is a very acceptable restaurant on site. During the first week the camp was a little cramped with tents being put up between caravans but in the second week these disappeared. The shop is very expensive. Stock up at Lidl and Famiglia in Lido prior to arrival. Fruit and Veg great value at Famiglia whilst other things were better value at Lidl. Fish stall in Cortellazzo had great choice but it was on the pricey side. We thought Aqualandia was too expensive, 100 euro for a family of four, but there is a similar smaller cheaper waterpark in Caorle which is a great little fishing town. DO NOT TAKE TRAVELLERS CHEQUES as they are not accepted by any bank or post office in Lido di Jesolo. Overall a good holiday with two children of 5 and 3.

We stayed in a tent at a bigger Eurocamp site in Ca'Savio, then to see more of the area we moved to this site at Waikiki and stayed in a caravan. It felt like heaven after the first location.

The Eurocamp reception fromthe Dutch reps was efficient, oganised and friendly (unlike the English reps at the earlier resort who were just out of school!)

The Caravan was clean and perfectly adequate size, microwave, full oven, radio, ipod player etc. The pool and shops close 1 - 3, which is a bit weird but ok. You have to wear a swimcap which is a pain but I guess its clean. You can lie on towels around the pool or hire a sunbed for 2euro for the day. Public transport is great, buses stop outside the camp and are every 20 mins to Lido Di Jesolo, trip takes approx 20 mins or there are a few restaurants and bars in walking distance.Buses are 2.50 euro per person, you buy tickets at the reception.
The beach is on site, its clean but there are no sunbeds. The water is shallow and clear, but there are jelly fish.
Mosquitto's are a problem all along this coast, so take sprays.

Buses back to Marco Polo airport are easy, change at Lido Di Jesolo, for the airport bus which are every 30 mins. Cost is 3.50 euro per person plus 2.30 euro for each suitcase. The journey from Lido di Jesolo takes approx 30 mins

We've never tried camping before and decided to go for Waikiki in Northern Italy due to the relative bad whether in Denmark and Northern Europe in general. We had a great trip down there on the HQ high-way of Germany and a beautifull crossing over the Alpes and smaller Dolomites via Sct Johan and Lienz. Came to Waikiki without troubles and felt in love with Waikiki immediately when we were welcomed at the entrance. The personal was extremely friendly and helpful and after few minutes we had found our pitch and started setting up our 8-person Outwell tent. The trip simply just became better and better after each day while we discovered the beach, pool, the extremely hygiegnic toilets and showers, the great dish facility and the really really child-friendly clean and sunny beach. Also the amusement during the day and evening were in top. Also don't forget to discover Venecia and Verona and the Valpolicella Valley and all the interesting buildings, history and wine not least in the village of Fumane. Simply our best summer holiday ever where we were extremely familiy social and cosed us in each others company (3 kids, 2 parents). One special event: one spark plugs set out and we needed immidiate help as we could not change the power device our selves. We went to the Information and they call immediately one mecanics associated with the camp (a friend I guess). He was there after just 15 Minutes and changed the broken device the following everyday. Better service can't be given anywhere in the world. Thanks a LOT for a fantastic and cheap stay. TIPS: Great coolers to hire. Good water and power supply at the pitch. Remember a pavillon and make sure to have a absolute 100% (3000-5000 mm secured) tent. VERY important due to the heavy thunder and rain during nights.

Waikiki is a large campsite on the edges of Lido de Jesolo - a very intensive purpose built holiday town in Northern Italy. We travelled with Eurocamp and had booked superior two-bed accomodation but ended up in a shell-box (hut!) - apparently that was their superior two-bed + decking. The entrance curtains were mouldy and dirty and I insisted on them being replaced. The ceiling was littered with dead mosquitos that the previous inhabitants had left there. The hut was next to a 24 hour major road. The spacing between the huts was non-existent and this contributed to temperatures of 40C in the hut - no air conditioning but a noisy fan to blow the hot air around. The huts can accomodate upto seven! - there wasn't enough room for the four of us!
Lido de Jesolo is fine and we went to Venice (twice) and Verona.
Italian people are very pleasant and we had some very good meals.
At least we could escape in the car - nearly had to sleep in it!
Mosquitos are deadly - my wife was badly attacked.
Aqualandia is a rip-off - avoid at all costs!
Give the whole Eurocamp at this site a wide berth!

Just returned from Camp Waikiki with Eurosites. The campsite is very clean with enough amenities to keep our family occupied for a week. (table tennis/pool/jacuzzi/beach/bar/gym/bike hire etc)
We flew into Treviso Airport and then took out hired car the 45 minute journey to the site. It's away from the main part of Lido de Jesolo, in a village called Cortellazzo, which is quiet, but has some restaurants and supermarkets etc. The Lido itself is a few minutes drive or there is a bus which stops right outside the gates of the camp.
The pool was cold! and you had to wear swimming caps (available at the shop) (1Euro) and you also hired sun loungers for 1 euro each session - The whole camp shuts down for siesta time (1 - 3) which was quite nice when you got used to it.
There was a kids club which was great for our children (7 and 5) from 9.30 - 11.00am and a disco (Kiddie) at night. The whole place was very quiet after about 10.30 at night.
The beach was a short stroll and was perfect for children - shallow and not many waves -
Caravan was OK, had everything you needed for the week - large fridge freezer, microwave, Ipod docker A/C. We BBQ'd every night, which was good. We went to Venice for the day, which was nice to see and easy to get to.
The only downside were the mossies! So take lots of bug spray and enjoy your holiday!
