We had an amazing afternoon with Rodolfo and one of his friends. We met him first in his gallery in Florence and after a first chat decided to have a wine tasting with him. We tried six key wines from the region and had a very good lunch on the side (which one should always do when tasting Chiantis), prepared by Rodolfo himself.
The wines are all produced on the venue. They produce in comparably small quantities (few thousand liters a year). Quality is on par with the well known brands for a very good price. We got nine bottles across the whole range.
If you want to do wine tasting in the Florence area, this is one if the best places to do it.

Thanks a lot for having been with us, it has been a pleasure to meet you all in our small but precious farm managed in a very familiar way with a lot of love. Thanks again!

We stayed in a holiday home (not in the villa) on the vineyard property. Nice and clean house. Right in the middle of a stunning Tuscany landscape, with a lot of nice towns in the near area.
The owner of the property is very helpful, but respects your privacy.

The owner is able to offer you a 'wine and food tasting experience' on the property.
Excellent wine and food, just superb! Made with passion and love for food and life. If you want a real 'Tuscany' experience, just do it!
I highly recommend this.

We arranged a private wine tasting with food by the villa on a Sunday afternoon. I could not have been more impressed by the hospitality of Rodolfo and his family and the experience overall. Apart from running the estate, Rodolfo and his family make wine and olive oil, paint, sculpt, and cook. We enjoyed a tour of the cellars, incredible wines, and absolutely fantastic home-made food (the dishes just kept coming!), all among the beautiful Tuscan hills. Rodolfo was extremely kind, generous, and helpful throughout. The perfect way to fall in love with Tuscany.

I was invited to Villa Torre Alberghieri by the master himself, Rodolfo, who produces all of the wine served during the experience and also is a fantastic chef with the help of his wife and kids. It was an incredible evening tasting the variety of wines, meats and cheeses local to this area of Tuscany. We shared many great laughs with the guests and for everyone looking for an unforgettable wine tasting experience in Tuscany look no further because Rodolfo is truly a master of art, wine and gives a rich experience to all who come to Villa Torre Alberghieri. Hope to be back soon!

We had the chance to visit this amazing Villa and spend an afternoon with Rodolfo.. a perfect gentleman, a renowned artist and a talented cooker.
We arrived at the sunset on a chilly day and we took a visit of the Property, the wine cellar and the art studio; all the medieval Villa is fulfilled of paintings made by Rodolfo and his brother Roberto that harmoniously match the original frescos and the furnishing of the ancient palace.
We had a personalised wine tasting of their wines combined with a delicious aperitivo picks prepared by Rodolfo served with a smile, we felt like home immediately!
The panoramic view, the fantastic wines and the pleasure of an art chat with the owners made our visit something memorable...we definitely will be back!

My wife and I stumbled upon chiantiandart quite by accident. When we arrived we were graciously met by Stefania while Rodolfo finished up in the vineyard teaching his son the finer points of motorcycle riding. We talked and walked the grounds and I could not believe the house with soaring tower and the art and frescos covered every wall and ceiling. The paintings and art all made by Rodolfo. Up the stairs we went to see the 360 degree view from the castle lookout. We then sat down to a wonderful lunch of melon and prosciutto , breads , olives , cheeses and varying wines. Then the pasta arrived cooked by the artist himself topped off with shavings of freshly unearthed truffles and some more wine. Best part of our five week visit to Italy was spending the afternoon with Stafania, Rodolfo Grandfather and two children. Felt like we were long lost relatives from America. Would not hesitate to go back again. See and stay at this place in Tuscany you will not be disappointed. Ciao! Joe & Julie O'Donnell

We had the pleasure of spending some time with Rodolfo and Stefania on their gorgeous grounds just outside of Florence. Their home is beyond words--contemporary art by Rodolfo mixed with frescos from the 1700's make for a truly unique environment. Vineyards and olive groves surround a fabulous tower with sweeping views of the countryside, yet the place is only about a thirty minute drive from Florence so it is perfect for travelers who wish to experience the tranquility of the country and might want day trips to the bustling city. Even in the midst of all of the perfection of the landscape and villa, delicious wine, and peaceful environment, the best part is that Rodolfo and Stefania are genuine people interested in giving visitors a special experience. I would return here again and again and highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a magical Italian vacation!
