My husband and I visited Italy for the first time in April 2013. We happened upon this restaurant because of the wonderful aromas we encountered as we walked by (we were heading to another restaurant). We had to eat here and we are very glad we did. It was one of our most memorable dinners. My husband and I each had a "primi" pasta. The Bistecca alla Florentina pleased my husband in size and taste (he's extremely hard to please when in comes to steak). And the beef made with Chianti wine, raisins and nuts was wonderful. The hospitality and friendliest made this restaurant one we would return to again and again (of course, when in the area). My husband wanted to let the chef (Grandma Du) know the steak was delicious, and they asked him to go back and meet Grandma Du and he could thank her personally. Don't make a mistake and pass this eatery up. Stop in and have a wonderful meal!
