It is not often, of ever, that I can dine with one person cooking just for me and one attending to only my well being and serving the food. The setting, in the newly restored house in the midst of the Medieval village of Montemagno, is a rare one.
You need to reserve in advance (no walk in), and you must select either a vegan or a fish/seafood menu; you want meat you need to dine somewhere else.
The cook (Rita) really knows her craft. Both menus are worth considering (I did return to try the other one!). Dario both serves the food, and excels in explaining what he serves (and why). Also English if needed, which is not at all to be taken for granted in rural Tuscany.
