La Volpe e l'Uva

Alessandra and Mirko are great hosts, and can communicate in good spanish and OK english if you need to. Room was pretty and a good size, and the bed was very very comfortable. Almost total silence at night. They are close to the heart of the town, though not easy to find and it is pretty difficult to drive in and out if you have a medium/large car (in fairness that is true of many sicilian towns). Mirko is very helpfpul with parking and directions. Breakfast was delightful and we had great fun chatting to our hosts about what and where to go, restaurants in town and sicilian life in general.

Ditto to all the accolades left by others. The rooms are decorated in a fun "stylin'" way by creative Allesandra, and Mirko is the lifesaver chauffeur, getting us from and back to the bus station, and even all the way to the ruins! As has been said, breakfasts are sumptuous, gourmet, beautiful, and delicious, with attentive conversation to go along with them. Appreciated the fast WIFI service, too.
We were a little cold at night, but then this was the coldest winter in Sicily in 100 years, and most heating systems just couldn't cope with it.

Our first three nights in Sicily were spent at this wonderful B&B, what a fantastic introduction to Sicily! Mirko and Allesandra made us feel very welcome; Mirko was a life saver as far as the parking goes (when hiring a car in sicily, it's best to get the smallest model possible,we discovered a little too late!). The breakfast was the largest spread we have ever encountered in all our travels, truly delicious, and kept us going well into the day. All the local recommendations our hosts gave us were spot on, and they helped us on our extensive day trips with lots of useful tips. We would definitely recommend a stay here to anyone who is traveling to Sicily, it remains one of the warmest memories of our trip.

We enjoyed our night here. The room was decorated in a cozy yet modern style. We loved the home prepared breakfast and lively conversation in the morning. The only issues we had were not the fault of the homeowners. The radiator was not quite warm enough for the coldest night in 27 years. There were no open restaurants within walking distance on Monday night.

While travelling through Sicily, we spent 2 nights with Allesandra and Mirko in their spotlessly clean, colorful bed and breakfast.
They helped us to make connections throughout the charming town of Piazza Armerina. Being with them at the breakfast table was a treat in itself! We never did have as much of a variety for breakfast again during the rest of our travels through Sicily.
Don't overlook Piazza Armerina while visiting Sicily. And, be sure to enjoy the unique opportunity to visit these two wonderful young people.

A lovely experience at this B&B, christianing the new front room, which is bright and spacious. Sure, the parking is a bit of a pain, but who can't say that about somewhere they've stayed in Sicily? As others have said, the young couple who run this place are unfailingly pleasant and helpful, provide a great breakfast and make the whole experience very enjoyable. They also speak very good English. Best wishes for the future, Alessandra and Mirko, and thanks for your hospitality.

Being the midst of the city has its difficulties with parking, but Mirko helped us immediately to find a space. The variety of the breakfast is overwhelming and both hosts tried to help us in planning our tour through Sicily. Mirko recommended a few places to have dinner and we were not disappointed!
