We came across the Osteria by chance and were wowed by the superb, fresh and delicious local food. It was busy with Italians, always a good recommendation- and as it got busier grandma arrived to give a hand in the kitchen.
There's no menu. The owner, who speaks good English, gave us a choice of a mix of starters (superb: fresh anchovies, caponata, frittatta omelette with courgette, grilled aubergine stuffed with salmon, followed by battered baby cod). Among the choices of pasta were spaghetti with clams or pasta with fresh prawns in a delicious garlic and chilli sauce. We had a big glass of wine each and water, all for 45 Euros.
