Thank you Angela for making us so welcome at Garibaldi Relais. Wonderful place to stay right in the heart of Sciacca so convenient for every where.
We had a lovely spacious room and a bathroom with a large shower.
The breakfast was good with a selection of food and drinks, which set us up for the day.
Angela made lots of recommendations of places to eat and went out of her way to show us Sciacca.
We would certainly return there.

The hotel is located in the very heart of the town. There are a lot of restaurants, places of interest, shops there. What`s more important for us was the proximity to thermal resources. The hotel is very cosy and we feel home. The room is spacious and for our baby there was a separate section in it. There was also a balcony viewing a nice street. We were delighted with the room, designed in sicilian style featuring all modern facilities. The breakfast was excellent serving sandwiches, cookies, juices, tea and coffee and others. Very friendly staff will make your staying in Garibaldi Relais unforgettable. We would strongly recommend this hotel if you want to get an enjoyable holiday in Sciacca.

I am shocked by the good reviews on this place. The only positive thing about this place was that it was cheap. I got a single for under $60. I arrived at the place around 3 pm and found no one there. I couldn't open the door so I called all the numbers on the front door. Two didn't work and the third rang to the front desk because I could hear it through the door. No one answered. I walked around for a while pretty anxious that I would have to sleep in my Smart car (scary thought) I came back around 430 and was able to enter but still no one at the desk. I used the front desk phone to call the cell number and the man came downstairs. He was not friendly and and spoke very little English. I speak some Italian so was able to survive. The place is on a pedestrian street that you have to drive up to drop off your bags. Then you park in a public lot about 3-4 blocks away. My room was tiny. There was no where to put my suit case that didn't partially block the door. The shower was the smallest I've ever seen. The bed was not comfortable. There was so much street noise with motorbikes riding through the streets all night long, There was also hourly bongs from the church bells about a block away. This was very unexpected since it was in a back alley. I had the worst nights sleep even with earplugs. The ladies at breakfast were very nice. Too bad she wasn't there the day before. Cute little town but would not recommend this place.

We enjoyed a good stay at Garibaldi Relais. The room was comfortable (the beds are hard, as they seem to be throughout Sicily) and fairly quiet (a must for us as older, independent travelers), and the continental breakfast served in the morning got us off to a pretty good start. The B&B is located in a very nice part of town. The staff there were warm, friendly and very helpful - especially Angela De Michaele. She is a most charming hostess! When we asked her how to get to the bus stop for our travel out of Sciacca, she offered to take us there herself. What she really did was give us a wonderful tour of this sweet little town. She drove us to see a special shrine, and explained that when Sciacca was built, there were more than 100 churches. She pointed many of them out to us and told us what they were being used for now. Some are schools, some are empty, many are still operating as churches. Thanks to Angela, we were able to see the city and learn about its history during our very brief stay.

Our first family trip to Sciacca was a huge success in large part because of our stay at
B & B GARIBALDI RELAIS . We traveled with a family of six who aged from 9 to 90, and we were all accommodated to the highest standard. The rooms at this lovely B & B were cozy and comfortable, having beautiful balconies overlooking the main Piazza and the sea. The location is OUTSTANDING, within walking distance to all of Sciacca's wonderful attractions. There was something for every age, as no car was necessary. The staff at B & B GARIBALDI RELAIS was UNBELIEVABLE, trying in every way to make our trip memorable. Angela speaks English which was a tremendous help, as we spoke no Italian. She made phone calls to long lost relatives in Sciacca, and is responsible for reconnecting us with fifteen family members. SO AWESOME! We loved the staff, the hotel, and Sciacca so much that we switched things around and stayed extra nights.

Room Tip: view of the sea

Very clean and quiet B&B/hotel, comfortable beds, larger than average bath, plus a frige. Limited breakfast, staff not always available at the front desk, but very helpful when they were. Good location in the heart of Sciacca. We were, however, disappointed with Sciacca as a whole. If you are not there for the sun, there is not a lot to do.
