“Interesting for a quick visit”

Interesting 2 story Trullo behind the Basilica. Open till 8pm most days but closed for daily siesta after lunch. Worth the 1.50 euro entrance fee to look around this unusually large trullo

“Interesting Architecture”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 6, 2012

Entry was a nominal amount EUR1.50. While you are in Alberobello, I guess you must see this house as it is the only 2 level trullo. There is not much to see really, some old wares, weaving loom, nice view from upstairs over the trullis. It is located behind the Duomo (Basilica dei SS Medici). Takes no more than 15 mins. They have an excellent bookshop - so if you wish to buy books on the Trullis, Alberobello or Puglia in general, the range is much better than the souvenir shops that all sell the same book in 5 different languages.

“Good insight into life in a trullo”

Well worth the 1,50€ entrance fee. Less touristy than the Rione Monti area.

Nicely presented with good information. Not sure how it would appear at height of season but we had a good chanace to look around and enjoy the information
