“Staying in a Trulli - Magic!”
Reviewed June 6, 2014

Thank you Mimmo, Cosmina, Lorenzo, Pierino and staff for a wonderful stay at your B&B. Going to Alberobello and staying in a Trulli has been a long held dream and now it has been fulfilled beyond expectations. You have welcomed me into your B&B and your home as if I was a member of the family. With 1m thick walls Internet access was a challenge but how much better to sit on the step of my trulli or at the bar across the road enjoying a Puglian wine doing emails, chatting with Cosmina or other locals who I was introduced to! Trulli's can be cold due to the thick walls but your advise to leave the heater on, even when it was 24degrees outside, and the great doonas kept me lovely and warm. The rooms were lovely and clean and even though on the main tourist street there was no noise in the morning or at night. Lorenzo in the Bar gave the best advise of where to eat and I had amazing meals experiencing local produce at its best! Your help getting to and from Alberobello and Martina Franca, Locorotondo and other sites in Alberobello was terrific. Pickup from bus stop on a Sunday or drop off to station today was no problem! Many people seem to go to Alberobello as a day trip. Don't! Stay longer so you can experience the town in its quieter moments otherwise you may think of Alberobello as just a lot of tourist shops. It's like being in Hobbit land! Make the most of your stay by enjoying the hospitality of Mimmo and family. If you do, you will come away with a great appreciation for Puglia and Alberobello. Mille Grazie. Susan

Room Tip: If Internet access in your room is really important then ask for the Trulli with the best access.

We have been to Puglia several times and could never dream of visiting this region without visiting Mimmo. He is charming, engaging, knowledgeable and passionate, His trulli are stunning and his staff are first class. Use him as a tour guide and stay in his trulli. You will not be disappointed!

Such a wonderful surprise to stay in the most beautifully furnished and comfortable trull (even underfloor heating) with the most delightful hosts, delicious breakfast and attentive service for a remarkably reasonable price. I only wish we'd stayed longer. Alberobello and this hotel are magical.

We stayed in Alberobello on a recent driving tour of Puglia, as we wanted to experience a stay in a Trullo. The reservation process was very smooth and we received driving instructions to the village. Upon arrival, the owner/manager Mimmo came to greet us. He was really friendly and a very engaging person who could not do enough to make us happy. He gave us recommendations for local visits, as well as an introduction to an excellent restaurant - Trullo d'Oro. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The client welcome notice in the room was signed "Trulli e Puglia di Palmisano Mimmo". It makes all the difference when an owner's name is on the entrance door. Great welcome, excellent stay -- highly recommended !

My husband and I spent a lovely week in a Superior Trullo. The Trullo was beautiful, really big but very cozy with underfloor heating. There was a lovely patio area out the back allowing us to make the most of the sun in the morning. Although, we didn't cook for ourselves, the kitchen had plenty of equipment had we wished to. Situated in the heart of the historic town, you really felt part of the place. Although there were many visitors during the day, it was a very relaxing peaceful location and at night it was so quiet.

Mimmo, Lorenzo and all of the staff/family made us feel so welcome every day. They gave us recommendations for local places to visit and eat all of which were excellent. We had no transport, but after spending time wandering around Alberobello town (an absolute must), we walked out of town through Olive and Almond Groves to a local nature park. We were able to travel easily by train to local towns (Grotte di Castellana, Martina Franca and Locorotondo). We hired bikes for a day and cycled through some beautiful scenery to the beach at Capitolo.

Would definitely recommend this as somewhere not to miss.

Thank you Mimmo and everyone. We'll definitely be back.

I stayed here for 2 nights.
For me, the accommodation in here was more valuable than walking around the town.
Actually I was quite disappointed of the town.
But the accommodation was really good and special.
Trullo is really big but cozy and warm.
There is everything that I need :)
I thought it's real trullo experience.
And also, they upgraded the room to suite for free even though I booked standard room :)

Me and my wife were on our honeymoon and we booked this trulli.Alberobello was beautiful-we already knew it, but what made it great is the hospitality at trulli e puglia. Mimmo,Lorenzo and the entire trulli e puglia family are simply awesome. I received all the information required-be it facilities, alberobello city information, pickup-drop information, just about everything i required on mail a month before(i booked month in advance). Mimmo was very prompt in answering my mails, phone calls even before i booked the trulli . Details about flight, trains, buses are available right at the desk and the staff takes personal care in briefing you about the city and answer all your queries. The trulli accomodation - spotlessly clean and neat. The rooms look as beautiful as in the pictures posted. Breakfast was also very good. Excellent location-Market is just a 5min delightful walk The day we were leaving, we did not have train to bari at that time, Mimmo personally dropped us till the bus stop and was with us till the bus left the stop. Simply brilliant hospitality.we felt so much cared..beautiful experience. Mimmo has become a long-time friend now(already on my facebook list of friends!!). Very strongly recommended!!!
