We were fortunate to select Levanto over the Cinque Terre villages. It is easy to get to by train and more open and easy to get around than some of the crowded villages. There are plenty of good places to enjoy a meal and there is a beach as well. This hotel is modern, the staff very helpful and obliging and the breakfast more than adequate. Our large room had 3 single beds and a very large bathroom, on the same level as the reception/breakfast room. It could be a little noisy in the evening due to the games room and cafe downstairs, but I thought it just added atmosphere. Being on a corner, it was interesting to watch the locals meeting for a chat on the bicycles daily. A lovely place to stay, and I'd recommend it over the tired villages of the Cinque Terre.
