Villa Marta was a wonderful sanctuary for us. We live in Colorado so the contrast of being on the coast of Italy, literally hanging over the cliffs of the Mediterranean, was the highlight of an amazing 6 week trip to Europe. The peace, the view, the sunsets, the manager, the dwelling's convenience and beauty, the location and its proximity to all of the Cinque Terra towns, the proximity to the Italian Riviera, the food in Levanto, I could go on and on. We were most pleased. My only issue is being corrected by the owner and that is that Wifi was not available if you have a Mac. Luciana is waiting for someone to get this installed, but they had not arrived yet. As it turned out, we had no problem though, as the Tourist Info. is a short distance away and they had free wifi that was easily accessible. A minor problem, considering how much we loved this place. Luciano, the owner was most apologetic. She was very kind and helpful and speaks very good English, which was a help.

The location of this house is in terms of privacy and sea view perfect. It is relatively quiet. Going to the beach requires a 15 minutes walk - maybe somewhat longer uphill. The house itself is modern and comfortable, and the space outside is attractive and private.
The bicycles are crap, and the garden furniture is not of good quality.

This villa is located just outside Levanto on the headland. The views are spectacular - towards Levanto, the beach and surfers, and out across the Mediterranean. The Villa is modern, very beautifully appointed. Stainless steel kitchen, gorgeous living areas all with spectacular view. Luciana is the most fantastic hostess - she even drove down to the Tourist Information Centre so we could follow her back to the Villla. Would recommend this Villa highly. I have stayed in Monterosso on previous holidays and in fact in future will stay in Levanto - out of the tourist mayhem that is Cinque Terra but still accessible by walking tracks and train.
