With the first welcome from Rosanna and Marco I felt very comfortable and my 5 day stay was wonderful - my room was very comfortable and Marco carried up my too heavy suitcase for me. Breakfasts were always delicious and Rosa makes a very tasty cooked savoury dish with local ingredients each day along with yougurt, juice, bread, sweet buns and wonderful espresso or capucinno (or tea). She will urge you to take some food to eat later in the day! Rosanna speaks an amazing mixture of a little bit of English and Italian with so much expression that it is like being in an Italian immersion class-it was wonderful. The shower was great and the complimentary toiletries were so nice. The B&B is in a perfect location- 2 minutes from the wonderful Levanto beach and near many very good restaurants, shops and cafes. Levanto is a lovely town- easy to get around, with many pedestrian only streets. The train station is a 10 minute walk and from there you can get trains to the start of cinque terra (5 mins ride to first town) or you can go on to La Spezia and do a day trip to Pisa or Florence. Very good location and less crowded than the much smaller towns of Cinque Terra. In the summer you can also get a boat in Levanto to the towns along the coast. Levanto felt very safe and I was always happy to get back to Levanto after a busy day. Rosanna and Marco are so welcoming and friendly -they made my visit unforgettable. I hope to return.

We stayed in Levanto for four days while touring Cinque Terre. Marco and his mom Roseanna kept the B&B spotless. Our rooms were big and bright. Marco was so helpful with suggestions about restaurants both in Levanto and in the neighbouring towns. Roseanna made wonderful breakfasts and kept us in stitches with her stories. Loved the Elvis music!

In addition to the great place, Levanto is a fabulous base from which to explore the region. The train service to the five towns is quick and frequent, the beach is the best in the area and there are lots of good restaurants to choose from. Both the hotel and the town were a wonderful respite after a hard day of hiking.

We couldn't have had a better location for the start of our holiday in Italy! Marco & Roseanna made us feel right at home, with a central location and being so close to the beach, it was a great base for our stay. Traveling to the villages of the Cinque Terre was very easy and Levanto is a fantastic town to spend some time in!

The breakfast Roseanna made each day was fantastic (grazie mama!) and her animated talks at the breakfast table in the morning were really the highlight of our trip.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an authentic Italian experience with great food, great people and a lovely hotel. We wished we didn't have to leave and if we didn't have to attend a wedding in the north, I think we would still be there!

Rosa and her son Marco made our trip to Levanto wonderful, With a fresh homemade breakfast every morning, clean rooms, and amazing Italian charm. Only a two or three minuet walk from the beach and ten minuets from the train station. We would recommend this place to anyone wanting to explore Cinque Terre but without all of the crowds.

La Rosa del Venti in Levanto is nicely located in the old town center, just a few minutes from the beautiful beach. Mrs Rosanna and her son Marco received us very friendly and serve a varied breakfast. The rooms are clean and nice.
So a place to return, which we did already two times.
The vincinity of the Cinque Terra complements a stay in beautiful Levanto.
