Terme Manzi Hotel & Spa
Certificate of Excellence

This hotel is great. It is a little far from the beach and the shopping areas but it has excellent on site amenities and service. The spa is awesome, the pools are great, and the beach bar "Gino's" where they set you up with chairs and an umbrella and the shuttle takes you to is great. However when we stayed there it was mid week in August and the hotel shuttle stopped running at 7pm. This felt as if it was to get the guests to eat dinner at one of the hotels two restaurants. This was annoying as it was expensive taking cabs to and from the downtown areas in the evening and there is not much around the hotel. The breakfast buffet at the hotel is excellent and probably one of the best you will find in Italy. We enjoyed our stay.

Stayed for 5 nights in late July. The hotel is top-notch, with the rooms modern, clean and bright (and excellent A/C!). The common areas and pool are lovely and well-maintained. However, the food and the service are really the stars here. Hotel staff are uniformly helpful, warm and friendly. Every request we had was fulfilled promptly. The food is fantastic - very refined, sophisticated and delicious. Even simple things at breakfast were obviously prepared with a lot of care and skill. Had a meal at the Michelin-starred restaurant, and it rivaled meals in top NYC or Paris restaurants. The spa also deserves note, as its a beautiful space and the service there was excellent too. If I return to the area, I definitely would stay at the hotel again, and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Very nice hotel, amazing staff, you have to rent a small car to discover the island, very cheap and easy with the help of reception staff.... We loved the island Poseidon gardens are amazing.... We got an upgrade to a prestige room view on the street, it was amazing, very calm and nice.

Although hotel is not located in prettiest village in Ischia and the rooms are not the biggest, the decorations and facilities are first rate. As with virtually all the Relais & Chateaux properties we have stayed at around the world, the facilities and staff at this one are absolutely first rank and world class. From the manager who was constantly on hand to talk with and who ensured our stay was enjoyable and Nino the executive chef, through the maitre d's, wait staff and room attendants, all staff were friendly and helpful. The spa facilities were out of this world and the great weather ensured our complete enjoyment of the roof top pool with fantastic mountain views.
The michelin starred restaurant served up a performance meal with exquisite flavours.
We'll be back Terme Manzi! Thanks again for a great stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a mountain view room otherwise you may end up with a room backing on to a scooter-noisy vill...

Ischia is a magical Island and Terme Manzi is a magical Hotel. Every member of staff was as helpful and friendly as they could be and they seemed to allocate one of their many charming receptionists to always look after us. When we caught the hotel shuttle to the port on our last day she even came with us to make sure were OK.
We enjoyed the pool and the spa and our room was very comfortable.
We had a 4 day break which included some cookery lessons and a cocktail lesson. To have this in a 2* kitchen on a one to one basis (plus our receptionist) was a real treat. We got to know the Chefs and could see the amazing preparation for the evenings dinner.
We ate in Il Mosaico at the chefs table one night and it was an unforgettable experience. Great food, highly intricate and prepared with passion.
The best compliment we can give is that we want to go back and hope to become regular visitors.

We have just returned from a very good stay at the Terme Manzi. We were collected from Ischia Porto but the complimentary shuttle.
We had booked a "Prestige Room" and whilst the room was bigger that the Deluxe room the view was over the street outside. We changed to a very good (Deluxe) room overlooking the courtyard of the hotel (for less). The room was very clean and well maintained.

The best features of the hotel are the roof top pool and solarium and the thermal bath in the hotel.

We ate in the main restaurant 3 of 4 nights and we enjoyed good food. It is not necessary to have the full 4 course meal - you can choose your own from the a la carte. We had booked for the 2* Michellin restaurant but in the end with the heat (and the large quantity of food already consumed) decided not to go for the experience.

There were two disappointing things, which may be connected - the location of the hotel is quite poor, the area immediately outside the hotel leaves a little to be desired. Secondly, the hotel bar is extremely expensive, and unless you walk down to the town there is little locally to keep you watered.

However the hotel itself is very lovely and the staff are very friendly. The food is very good and we left well rested.

I first would like to thank all of the amazing and gratious staff at the Terme Manzi Hotel. This was our first stop of a 2 week trip to Italy and was also the most enjoyable part of the trip. First the hotel is beautiful but most of all the entire staff bent over backwards to make sure your every wish was taken care of.

My wife and I have travelled extensively for the last 35 years and we usually stay at 4-5 star properties. This property would be in the top 5 over this time period.

The island of Ischia although not the most talked about is surely one of the prettiest islands we have visited and considering 1 of the other stops was Capri with 2 other stops on the Amalfi Coast that says a lot of this quaint Island.

Thanks again to the staff of the Terme Manzi Hotel for making this the best stop on our trip to Italy.

Room Tip: Rooms face into a garden courtyard. I would have to think all of the rooms are in a great spot.
