In my opinion, the most remarkable in this island is the thermal water. Thermal spas are in almost every hotel, but worth a visit thermal systems (they are on the island of five). We walked only one - "Poseidon Gardens", as it was located near the hotel.
Price one-day admission ticket to the complex 28 euros. In my opinion, rest on ISCHIA a path does not make sense without visiting these complexes, because beach holiday on the island of mediocre and difficult.
Briefly describe the organizational moments in the "Poseidon Gardens", as at the time this did not find any description in any withdrawal. At the entrance you can take the plan of the complex with the recommendation of the order of visiting the thermal baths, etc. All things can be left in a locker, his coin of 1 euro. Each time, taking something from the cupboard, when you close it should be lowered to 1 euro. Therefore, pre-think about what to bring. Usually, people take only a towel, someone else and dressing / waffle bathrobe (by the way, very convenient to walk in it), and be sure to cap. Without it, you will not be allowed in the pool. There is a mini-safe for 0,50 euros for valuables. But apparently, this safe, few uses. If you have decided to take a bag and not leave it in the locker, then watch it. We almost had not lost our bags. At the last moment noticed the boy about 14, which oshivalsya about our loungers. Everything went well.
The complex has several restaurants self-service. Food as compared to hotel room was excellent. A large plate of marinated seafood worth 11 euros, a plate with small and big tomatoes mozzarella about 18 euros. But the cappuccino was worth less than the hotel and places in the City - 2 euros for a cup. A huge piece of delicious sweet watermelon - 3 euros. Sweets (cookies, cakes) from 1,5 to 2 euros per piece. In general, do not stay hungry.
The complex has a separate access to the beach with sun loungers. Unfortunately, the sea was cold, the first few days were observed waves. Bathed only once or twice. However, the complex has a big swimming pool with sea water. The water is warmer than the sea, and swim comfortably.
If in Negombo many young people and children, here some pensioners and disabled people, but they are moving so slowly that they do not notice. Park belongs to the Germans and the feeling: mandatory cap and clear all organized.
Nowhere provide towels, one should get their own. The thermal water is very salty taste.

For starters, if you only have one day to go to one of these, don't waste time with Negombo. See my separate review there for details. This place was an interesting and fun visit for my wife and I. I can't say it would be something I would definitely do again, other than for the beach, but it was a fun experience. The reason why it was different/interesting (for an American in their mid-30's) is because of the therapeutic bend to the place. One might expect it to have just a resort-esque pool feel, or perhaps a water-park feel, but in actuality the overriding feel of the place is that it is primarly devoted to people going to the various thermal spas for legitimate health reasons. But that kind of makes it funner for those who aren't. You do have to wear a swim cap. The average age is much higher. The place is a series of various shaped pools and hot tubs, at various temperatures from icy cold to very hot. There is map that helps you navigate them in the right order. The pools have a slight architectural element to them to make them look nice, but it's really more about getting in the water than how the place looks; so unlike Negombo, they most aren't fashioned to look like coy ponds or caves; they're just run of the mill pools. There are lounge chairs all around to enjoy the sun, and there is beach access with chairs and umbrellas and the beach is nice. We took a bus here and it is very confusing if you don't speak Italian. If you don't take the right bus, you have to change buses or walk about a mile. I'd recommend a taxi if you're short on time, but taxis add up fast.

I enjoyed my visit to the Poseidon Gardens very much.
The Gardens are beautifully kept, scrupulously clean, and the change rooms, washrooms and locker rooms were private and comfortable.
Because of the terraces, which are full of flowers, shrubs and trees, full shade can be found should the intensity of the Italian sun become overwhelming. So unlike the public beach nearby!
The grounds are well-provided with lounge chairs, tanning benches and grass umbrellas, arranged around several pools of different theaputic purpose, temperature and orgin, whether salty sea water, or the thermal spring water for which the Gardens are famous.
I enjoyed the Ischia Pool, with warm buoyant water and a central bench over which waters poured gently. I positioned myself so that it fell over my head and shoulders. The Aphrodite pool, cooler, features underwater jets that could be exactly positioned. The sauna (carved out of living rock!) was hot and misty.
I had lunch at the well-appointed licenced cafeteria, where I enjoyed a large and delicious tuna salad, while my companion chose the Mozzarella, tomato and Basillicum plate. The Mozzarella was a soft ball of mild cheese similar in texture to Brie, the tomatoes were intensely flavourful, and the Basillicum enhanced their flavour.
Although the cost per day is considerable at about 24 Euros, it was well worth it, as it was such a pleasant and healing day. Wristbands for more stays cost less per day.
