A complex of 20 pools with different temperature from 28 to 40 degrees and filled with hot underground thermal water. The hot springs are of volcanic origin and are particularly indicated for orthopedic ailments and breathing problems. They have also a regenerating effect on the skin against stress and aging. In the medical and beauty Center there is a team of professional that take care of your needs using advance medical and beauty treatments. This is a blissful spot--22 thermal pools, with water ranging from cool at the bottom, increasing in temperature as you walk up the levels. Waterfalls with warm thermal waters pour out of alcoves, where you can sit and enjoy the warm water cascading over your shoulders, easing away tension. You can sit in a warm thermal pool and take in the spectacular view of the bay of Citara--such relaxation! There's a sandy beach area at the bottom, with chairs to sit along the bay. The gardens are landscaped with the largest, most beautiful roses I've ever seen. We arrived late, after 1:00, and paid the half-day rate, but I wish we'd arrived earlier so we could have enjoyed the entire day here. It's an idyllic place, and one of the main highlights of our week on the Amalfi coast.

Warm pools with different temperatures, streams, real cave steam sauna, beautiful surroundings, clean environment and restaurants. Located et the end of the Citara-beach it's really worth the 10 minutes walk from the bus stop. Dramatic setting and views - especially from the pools on the hillside. You can easily spend the whole day here but two-three hours will make you feel reborn just as well.

Beautiful spot. We were lucky that there were very few people in the pools so it was a great relaxing experience.

We have not expected much but our short stay there was a total bliss. So many nicely located pools overlooking the sea lagoon including full sized olympic pool. I generally don't manage to remain in such spa for more than 2 hours but this one really stands out. You can even find a private small pools without any people and watch a sunset in private. Really recommended and worth the trip to Ischia. Only one minor annoying thing is the compulsory swimming cap (not a big deal however if you know in advance).

Been here a few times, it has a great variety of thermal pools, arranged up the hillside, getting hotter as you climb up. Most pools have water jets at the side gently to massage you, some with waterfalls to stand under.
The concept is simple but effective; volcanically heated water sourced at the top of the hill, nearly boiling, is piped down the hill and mixed with cold sea-water to create the series of heated pools at various controlled temperatures, the cooler ones being larger to accomodate more people. There's also access to a sea water beach, indoor heated pools, and a restaurant.
Entry is not cheap, but the facilities are good, and good value for day's activities.
Recommended!
