We stayed here with our extended family of 7 people. Absolutely stunning views, nicely decorated rooms, all en suiite. Plenty of space, beautiful gardens, clean, spacious pool, very clean. If you want a beautiful, relaxing place in a quiet area of Amalfi coast, this is the place. Minuta is a little piece of paradise close to Scala. it's remote location is both it's appeal as well as its drawback. The very steep stairs were difficult for our older family members. It was only possible to go up and down the steps once a day for the older folks to take excursions to other towns. Also it is somewhat challenging to get around; we did take the bus which was inexpensive but the timetable is not reliable. That is the best way to get around if you have flexibility. Otherwise there are plenty of reliable taxi drivers but that is quite expensive. Overall I would highly recommend this private villa, it is a gorgeous place to stay.
Seven of us stayed at Villa Minuta. We had an excellent time. Very quiet area, except for church bells and fireworks but that was all part of the atmosphere. Very well equipped villa, lovely pool, owner is wonderful and brought as jam tartlet and homemade cheese. The villa was very clean, 5 bed rooms all with ensuite. It was a short walk to Scala and Ravello, and you could walk down to Amalfi, but up is a bit tough but the us is easy to catch back to Ravello or Scala. From Amalfi we caught the ferry to Positano and to Capri. We did the Walk of the Gods which was fantastic. Would stay here again. Brilliant!!!
