We stayed here in August and it was one of the best places we have stayed. The views were amazing, the rooms were lovely and Minori was a great place to stay. Our hosts were fabulous and the food they cooked was memorable. We didnt want to leave and cant wait to return. This was a slice of heaven.

We stayed here for a week with my husband on our honeymoon and what can I say. The amalfi coast can get quite stressful in August (the tourists/small roads packed with cars/the excessive heat!), but all that just melts away when you get up to the terrace and sit under the lemon trees and take in that truly stunning vista. (and have a gulp of Marias amazing lemon juice!) We had the half board and I am so glad we went for that option as they were all truly the best meals we have had, EVER. Simple, beautiful food with fresh local or homegrown ingredients, stunning homemade wine and wonderful service. Every night was special and the highlight of our day! The rooms have beautiful views, and they are clean and nice. If you plan a trip there try to get the room on the second floor with a private sun terrace and outdoor shower! Also be prepared for walking up a few stairs to get there, but its good exercise to balance off that amazing food! We have vowed to come here every three years now as it was truly that special! Thank you Maria and Vincenzo and all your family!

We stayed here for several nights on our honeymoon and had a wonderful experience. We stayed in the Camelia room with its own private deck and the setting was serene. The lemons and grapes all around are gorgeous. Vicenzo, Maria, Pasquale, and Nadia all made our stay so comfortable and memorable. Their service was impeccable! They told us about local cuisine and historical facts about the area. We even mustered the courage to walk from Ravello down 1500ft to Minori-a wonderful hike!
The food that Maria cooks is some of the best we've had in Italy (we were also in Positano, Rome, and Capri). Her pasta is heaven!!

For me this was a special holiday arranged by my daughter Rachel because I had just retired from work. Minori itself is an idyllic place to be, beautiful, unspoilt, not as bustling anfd crowded as nearby Amalfi - therefore on arrival I knew that this was a special place. When we arrived at Maria's I was speechless. It is what everyone would describe as paradise - sitting on the side of ther hillside overlooking the bay with terraced lemon groves surrounding on all sides. The rooms were superb, had all the facilities and more, each with a separate balcony looking down at this amazing little Town and the sea beyond. I didn't want to move from that spot. Then to eat each and every night on the terrace with the same view was magical. The food was fantastic. All sourced from their own land and Vincenzo could be seen daily gathering vegetables and fruit for our supper that evening. Maria's pasta and tomato sauce is the best I have ever tasted. The tortes we had for breakfast each and every day were gorgeous, different flavours each day, limone, chocolate, almond - prize winning! They are passionate about their place and could not do enough to make us happy and comfortable and very welcome. This included home made lemonade every time we made our way up the hill to what had become home for the week. The limoncello was the best we have ever tasted too and quite a few bottles made their way back to the UK together with the Peach Jam and Lemon Marmalade - all to be recommended. I am told that in the late Spring when the leomn flowers are blooming Maria's and Vincenzo's lemon groves are exsquisite. We may be back then. Ruth Ashworth, Lancaster, England.

We stayed for five nights at Villa Maria in August. The location is spectacular and the view is unbelievable. The rooms were lovely - very clean and beautifully decorated with local tiles. Vincenzo and Maria and their family were very welcoming. Maria's food is fantastic - especially the pasta. It was all cooked with home-grown ingredients and accompanied with home-made limoncello. Minori is a lovely town - very calm and peaceful compared with other busier and more commercial towns on the Amalfi Coast. The Villa is at the top of a steep hill but a local minibus brings you most of the way up and when you finally reach the top you find a jug of Maria's ice cold homemade lemonade waiting for you. All in all, a wonderful experience.

Room Tip: We stayed in Camelia which was a lovely big room with a large terrace - perfect for taking in the amazing view.
