Hubby and I loved this little out of the way restaurant where we sat outside enjoying a mixed sea food dish with pasta mussels and clams soaked in butter sauce tomotoes and parsley the best meal of our holiday just perfect. For desert we had lovely creamy sherry and lemon pastries which his mother had made she obviously knows her pastry as they were delicious. The owner was very friendly and enthusiastic about his dishes which he had every right to be they were spot on. I would highly recommend a visit to Ristorante Libeccio to anyone who enjoys good freshly sauced food.

After a long morning in the car, we decided to stop in Minori to eat lunch rather then sitting in more traffic on the way to Amalfi. As we wandered the back streets we came upon Ristorante Libeccio. The owner was friendly and waited on our every needs. His reccomendations were excellent. Although our bill was a bit pricy, the food was fresh and left us talking about the meal to others in our party a few days later.

We stumbled upon this cute little restaurant on our way to Amalfi. The food was fabulous and Giuseppie, our waiter, provided great service, making us feel very welcome. He was very appreciative of our patronage and we were happy to support the local restaurant owner, even if the prices were a bit high. But, everything tasted very fresh, so we were pleased with the meal anyway. One other added bonus was how nice the restrooms were. Many restrooms in Italy leave a lot to be desired, so it was quite nice to have top-notch facilities as well.

We were the only clients there on a freezing cold day , the restaurant had no heating so it was as cold inside as out. We chose the Minori pasta specialities which had to be cooked as ordered so meanwhile due to the waiter's insistence we ordered some bruschetta to keep us going, Our 3 pasta main courses were all minute portions, one was quite mediocre and the other 2 were tasty ( one was the pasta with mussels and tomatoes but expensive at 18euros). We had one local dessert , a fruit tart which seemed to have been taken out of the deep freeze. When we asked for the bill, the total being 88 euros !!!!l we were given a scrap of paper not a proper bill, neither the restaurants name nor tax number was in sight. Then when we attempted to pay by credit card we were told that credit cards were not accepted ! We felt that we had been conned and would never return.

Libeccio is a fairly new restaurant in Minori with tables outside in the piazza by the Basilica and chic interior. We had home made Scialatielli with seafood and lovely crusty bread. It is a bit pricey (8 euros for a very simple tomato salad seemed a it steep), but it is very good food. They also give you a small glass of home made limoncello with the coffee which is streets above the normal industrial offerings you get.
