“Friendliness away from the crowd”
Reviewed November 5, 2010

Stayed at 2 Torri with a group of backpackers. The hotel is logistically perfect for beautiful day hikes overlooking the Amalfi Coast, easily reaching both Positano and Amalfi. Nicola and Giovanni are excellent hosts and their food is the "who-cares-about-diet" type. Simple but very clean rooms.

Just returned from a week-long walking holiday with Exodus/ Sawadee along the Amalfi Coast. An incredible trip made even more enjoyable by the warm, friendly and very comfortable hotel - Le Due Torri. The hotel is idyllically situated in the small mountain village of Bomerano where you'll see fresh fish and fruit being sold on sidewalks and where friendly locals greet you from their seat at the local café.

The hotel itself is all you could hope for during an active holiday: very comfortable beds, hot & strong showers, staff that greet you by name at times and meals that would rival any 4* hotel/ restaurant. What's especially nice about this hotel is that they are very customer oriented. Expect to be invited into the kitchen to see how meals are prepared and you may even get to sample some of the ingredients while you watch. At dinner-time the hotel's family are just a table or two away, giving the hotel a very warm and personable feel.

On the last night of our stay our table was decorated with an assortment of lovely flowers and lovely leaves, making dinner even more special. I also was pleasantly surprised when Nicola, the hotel's owner appeared with a raincoat after I realised that I had forgot to pack mine.

When it came time to leave we were treated to a big hug and a heartfelt goodbye.... or should I say so long, because I'm sure this is one hotel I will definitely be visiting again in the future!

Famil run restaurant with magnificent local fare, more than any of us could eat. Staff and service was brilliant. Thank you Nicola for the excellent evening we spent there and for the Kathy Reichs novel you gave me from your library.

Although it was sold as the Amalfi Coast, our tour was based in Agerola, way out. The village itself is pretty boring, and to get to most of the interesting places it takes hours by bus. Also the 'views' from the hotel are more suburbia than the really beautiful Amalfi Coast. Next time I'll definitely go on a trip which stays in Amalfi.

Stayed here as part of an Exodus tour. What a great location to see this beautiful part of Italy. The staff and family who owns this hotel is what makes it so special. Great food and hospitality. This isn't a 5 star hotel, but if you're looking for a nice place to explore the Amalfi Coast, then look no further.

This hotel is one of the very best we have used on our many trips to Italy. The staff are so pleased to see you and make every thing so comfortable for your stay. The food is excellent ,traditional and plentiful . We would have liked to stay longer there as it has some of the best walking in the area.
Thank you to all the staff for your professional and good service

What a friendly family, so enthusiastic, interested and motivated! I had a lovely time here. The food is good, the wine easy, the company warm, the dogs cute.
Rooms are of good size, bathroom simple yet sufficient. Location is excellent for going on hikes, visiting small villages by the coast, travelling to Capri. Etc!

Grazie, tutti!
